A ten-meter-wide hole suddenly appeared in the belly of the white dragon.
Everyone from the Material Plane except Luo Ya and his companions was startled.
"So this is a Metal Lifeform?" Luo Ya looked it over with some curiosity.
In Hell, flying long distances on your own was exhausting. Anyone with even a little strength usually used a Metal Lifeform as a means of transportation.
"Get all the people from the Material Plane inside," the pink-haired woman ordered coolly.
At once, forty-nine green-robed men stepped out from the group and approached Luo Ya and the others. The leader, a burly man with curly blue hair, said, "Go inside one by one. Don't make us force you."
"Let's go."
Luo Ya called out, then led Milia and Morti toward the opening and flew into the Metal Lifeform first.
Seeing Luo Ya go in first, the pink-haired Highgod woman nodded in satisfaction.
With a Midgod like Luo Ya going in first, the other Lowgods and the group of Saint Realm experts followed one after another.
The moment they flew into the white dragon's belly, everyone was astonished. The interior was furnished like a manor. There were chairs and tables, as well as decorative rockeries, metal flowers, and other ornaments.
It was truly marvelous.
"So this is a Metal Lifeform. How interesting," Milia exclaimed as she looked around. She could tell that it was probably a special lifeform, somewhat like the stone lifeform they had seen on Qianyan Island.
The countless planes were home to all sorts of strange lifeforms.
Still, the fact that powerful beings in the Supreme Plane could use a Metal Lifeform for travel meant it must have some remarkable qualities.
Once the people from the Material Plane had settled into their seats, a young green-robed man with close-cropped hair and a red headband began explaining the basics of Hell at the pink-haired woman's instruction.
"You've all come to Hell from the Material Plane. I'll give you a brief overview of how things work here. Hell is one of the Four Supreme Planes, so naturally, it's filled with powerful beings. Since you're new here, you'd be wise to join a tribe or clan."
The young green-robed man continued, "Of course, if you think you're strong enough, you can also strike out on your own. Heh. Whether you'll survive even a day is another matter."
"Hell has five vast, practically boundless continents: Zijing Continent, Kaluosha Continent, Muya Continent, Xuefeng Continent, and Bifu Continent."
"Of the five continents, Zijing Continent in the north and Kaluosha Continent in the west both reach the edge of the plane. In other words... the northernmost point of Zijing Continent is the edge of the plane, and so is the westernmost point of Kaluosha Continent."
The natives from the Material Plane listened attentively, while Luo Ya waited for him to continue.
"Beyond the five continents are the seas. The continents form an almost complete ring, with the vast Starry Fog Sea inside it. The Starry Fog Sea is enormous, far larger than any of the five continents. It's considered an inland sea. The outer sea lies beyond the continents, mainly to the south and east of the ring they form, and is known as the Chaotic Sea. It's the largest sea of all!"
At this, the young green-robed man smiled casually. "Of course, none of that matters much to you. Each continent is immense, and many powerful beings spend their entire lives on the same one. The continent we're on is Bifu Continent!"
So he had been transported to Bifu Continent. Luo Ya finally knew where he was.
The young green-robed man continued, "Hell has five continents and two great seas, each controlled by one of the seven great sovereigns. The people of Hell call them the Seven Sovereigns of Hell!"
The Seven Sovereigns of Hell?
The people from the Material Plane silently committed the imposing title to memory.
Anyone who could rule five continents and two great seas had to be extraordinary.
The young green-robed man's eyes filled with reverence. "The great Seven Sovereigns of Hell are also seven Chief Sovereigns who cultivate the Laws of Destruction!"
"Seven Chief Sovereigns?" Everyone was stunned.
Most of the people who came from the Material Plane had heard of Chief Sovereigns. After all, the magic of the Material Plane had been passed down by them, and records of them existed throughout the Material Planes.
But although these people might have known the title "Chief Sovereign," they had no idea how powerful one was.
Even Linley in the original story had initially been unable to imagine the power of a Chief Sovereign.
"Of course, the great Chief Sovereigns have no interest in managing mundane affairs. The Prefects handle the day-to-day matters in their respective territories. The region you're headed to is Liang'an Prefecture! It spans over a billion miles in every direction and is considered a mid-sized prefecture."
After explaining everything, the green-robed man looked around at them and said, "It'll take ten years to reach Liang'an Prefecture. Make the most of this last stretch of peaceful travel."
After delivering this thought-provoking remark, the young green-robed man left without looking back.
At first, the others didn't understand what he meant.
They soon found out.
"Boom!" A distant rumble rolled toward them.
The group peered outside through the transparent windows, puzzled. In the distance, two groups of people were fighting in midair. Flames surged, ice howled, and the earth cracked... More than a hundred divine-level experts were locked in a brutal battle!
But as the white dragon passed by, one of the green-robed men aboard the Metal Lifeform shouted at the hundred-plus experts, who were still fighting furiously.
The moment they saw the white dragon—and especially the emblem on its head, a single green lotus leaf—
"It's the Bifu Army!"
"Run!"
The hundred-plus divine-level experts jumped in fright. Forgetting their grudges, they fled in every direction. In the blink of an eye, they had all vanished.
"There really are a lot of battles in Hell."
When Milia saw another thirty-odd divine-level experts fighting in the distance, she couldn't help sighing.
During those ten years of travel alone, they had witnessed at least several thousand battles between divine-level experts. It gave them some idea of how chaotic Hell was.
No wonder the green-robed man had told them to enjoy their last peaceful days.
Once they left the Bifu Army's Metal Lifeform, who knew how many of their group would manage to survive?
"We've finally reached Liang'an Prefecture!" The pink-haired woman stood up, her expression easing. Then she nodded to the young green-robed man from earlier.
"You seven who've reached godhood have a much better chance of survival than these Saint Realm experts." The young green-robed man gave the large group of Saint Realm experts in the back row a mischievous glance, then took out seven black stones, each about the size of a finger, and handed them to Luo Ya and the other six in the front row.
"Blackstones are precious. Take one each and keep them safe. They're a perk you only get if you reach godhood and come to Hell."
Blackstones?
The other five stared in surprise at the black stone in their hands.
Only Milia glanced at Luo Ya without thinking. She remembered that when they had married, Laura, the Plane Overseer, had given them quite a few stones like these.
"The journey ends here. I hope you can survive in Hell. Hahaha!" Just as the blackstones were handed out, a hole suddenly opened in the white dragon's belly, and a dozen or so people were thrown out.
After dropping off the first group, the Metal Lifeform continued on its way, ejecting more people from the Material Plane every so often.
At the fifth stop, it was finally Luo Ya and his group's turn.
"Whoosh!" The seats below them vanished, and a powerful current of air from above hurled Luo Ya and the dozen or so others out. Luo Ya, Milia, and Morti quickly steadied themselves, then looked carefully down below.
