Background and History

Leisijing first confronts Luo Ya outside the Zuiyu Mountain Range, initially mistaking the Midgod for Hermes. Their fist clash shatters the Amethyst Armor around Leisijing’s hand and injures him, despite his extraordinary divine-beast body. He subsequently reveals that the rumored Soul-Defense Sovereign Artifact is false and that the actual treasure is a custom artifact connected to Aiken. 82

He explains that the artifact dispute is an Asura selection test intended to choose Aiken’s successor as Lord of Yanye Prefecture. Seeking to assess Luo Ya further, Leisijing challenges him with a Sovereign Artifact and Amethyst Space, but Luo Ya’s Swallow Heaven and Earth forces him back. The encounter draws the Zijing Chief Sovereign’s attention, leading to Luo Ya’s recruitment as her fourth Sovereign’s Emissary. 83 84

As a Purgatory Commander, Leisijing returns to his Amethyst Military Town and gathers troops for the Plane Battlefield. He travels with Luo Ya, Leihong, and Busili as part of the Amethyst Squad, crossing the Star River to hunt enemy Commanders. 97 98

During the Plane War, Leisijing uses Amethyst Space to impede the Sophia sisters, protects his teammates’ positions, and leverages his formidable soul attacks against enemy Commanders. He later compels Aokaroweier to surrender a Commander Badge rather than pursue a drawn-out battle against Luo Ya and Busili. 99 103

Following Luo Ya’s rise to Paragon-level strength, Leisijing continues fighting at his side. He helps secure Commander Badges, gains military merits, and reacts with open excitement after Luo Ya kills the Paragon High-God Merton. 108 115

Later, Leisijing partners with Ianpat in the Plane Battlefield. Their fusion divine skill, Amethyst Wind Prison, turns his gravity field into a far more dangerous confinement technique. 126 127 He also escorts Luo Ya to the Zijing Chief Sovereign when Luo Ya seeks assistance concerning Luo Lan’s apparent death. 131

Leisijing is playful, competitive, and easily excited by unusual opponents. He turns the false Sovereign Artifact rumor into a test for prospective Asuras and repeatedly pushes Luo Ya into sparring matches simply to gauge his capabilities. 83

He is also proud of his divine-beast heritage and combat strength, often taunting opponents or boasting about his squad. However, he is not reckless toward his companions: during the battle with the Sophia sisters, he specifically warns Leihong and remains concerned about the team’s safety. 98 99
