In the Spirit Ascension Platform, he gained an External Soul Bone and a connection with Mu Chen, then returned to his villa as Mu Xi began pursuing him.

• Su Mo accompanied Gu Yuena to the human world, then discovered she had lost her memories and was in Aolai City.
• Su Mo defeated Class Five’s challengers with his illusion technique, joined Class Zero, and fought Wu Zhangkong before revealing his Sharingan and Soul Rings.
• Su Mo challenged Wu Zhangkong’s defense of humanity’s treatment of Soul Beasts, provoking Gu Yue and leaving Tang Wulin unable to answer his question about whom he would save.
• Su Mo entered the Spirit Ascension Platform alone and defeated a Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear after rescuing the injured Mu Xi.
• Su Mo absorbed the bear’s External Soul Bone and left the platform, while Wu Zhangkong concealed his abilities from the Spirit Pagoda by claiming he was a Body Sect disciple.
• Mu Xi visited Su Mo at his villa, offered to cook, and set off an explosion in his kitchen, but remained determined to pursue him.

Su Mo survived a disastrous Hero Hall trial, used the aftermath to draw closer to Tang Wulin and Mu Xi, and set plans against Tang San in motion. As Tang Wulin’s dragon bloodline erupted and Tang San repaired its seal, Ling Zichen faced a deadly attack far from help.

• Su Mo entered Hero Hall, where a malfunction forced him to fight a simulated Tang San, and defeated him after Tang San shattered two Soul Rings.
• Su Mo woke in the hospital, concealed his true motives from Tang Wulin, and learned that Di Qiu’er had run into Di Tian before restoring her to life.
• Mu Xi cared for Su Mo at the hospital, where Ling Zichen discovered his depleted life force and agreed to provide an External Soul Bone in compensation for his injury.
• Su Mo recounted the Hero Hall fight to Ling Zichen and kept his survival plan secret from Mu Xi before Leng Yulai arrived and reported increased Holy Spirit Cult activity.
• Su Mo sent Leng Yulai to help attack Tang Wulin, but a Holy Spirit Cult assailant instead fought Wu Zhangkong and left Tang Wulin unconscious with golden scales spreading across his body.
• Tang San took control of Tang Wulin during the cemetery battle, then repaired the Golden Dragon King Divine Core’s seal and healed Wulin as Wu Zhangkong sought help.

Su Mo revived Ling Zichen and persuaded her to join his research, while Class Zero regrouped and prepared for the Skysea Grand Competition. Su Mo took on Wu Zhangkong, began training Xu Xiaoyan and Mu Xi, and left Tang Wulin caught between his feelings for Gu Yue and Ouyang Zixin.

• Ling Zichen died in a self-detonation while fighting Dark Fengniao, but Leng Yulai preserved one of her fingers and delivered it to Su Mo.
• Su Mo sacrificed Su Li to revive Ling Zichen through the Impure World Reincarnation, then offered her unlimited research resources and persuaded her to join him.
• Class Zero returned after vacation, and Tang Wulin revealed that his awakened bloodline had raised his cultivation to rank twenty.

Meanwhile, Tang Wulin survived successive assassination attempts, while Su Mo learned that Gu Yue had ordered the first attack and the Tang Sect’s investigation exposed a wider conspiracy.

• Su Mo taught Xu Xiaoyan and Mu Xi to form a Rasengan, then met Wu Sidu at the seaside and heard how her family’s expectations had left her questioning her life’s meaning.
• Xu Xiu summoned Su Mo to the Xu Family’s underground base and proposed that he marry both Xu Xiaoyan and Wu Sidu to help secure the Star Luo Empire’s return.
• Xu Xiu explained Dai Mubai’s oracle and the plan to use the new Shrek Seven Devils, while Su Mo rejected the betrothal and offered limited help if he joined the team.
• Gu Yue learned Tang Wulin might be Tang San’s son and ordered Zi Ji to drive him to the brink of death, and Zi Ji gravely injured him, but his Golden Dragon King’s Bloodline erupted and Tang San vowed revenge.

• A second assassin attacked Tang Wulin, but the sleeping Tang Wulin struck first, and Liang Xiaoyu then captured Shadow Demon before Na Nali broke his seal and helped Shadow Demon escape.
• Na Nali fled Liang Xiaoyu and found ashes marked with Leng Yulai’s dark aura, while Liang Xiaoyu and Wu Zhangkong suspected she had attempted to assassinate Tang Wulin.
