Background / History
Suiren Technology Co., Ltd. was formally named on February 20 after the acquisition of Hanhai Garment Trading Company. Its first laboratory was built by converting the acquired garment factory’s former production workshop; the initial laboratory-construction contract cost 33.1 million yuan. At this stage, the company had spent 104.3992 million yuan across acquisitions, recruitment, laboratory equipment, and construction, while retaining 117.5592 million yuan in its account. 14
The company’s public website entered trial operation on March 28. Its early software personnel were split between Lu Xuedong’s Computer System R&D Group and Huang Xiuyuan’s Future Software R&D Group, while a separate website-management team maintained the site. 23
During the economic downturn, Suiren used distressed-factory acquisitions to expand its industrial base. Materials and Environmental Services
