Oufu’s ultimate attack failed to kill Huosi, who revealed a material-defense Supreme Artifact and survived. Oufu withdrew, while news of Augusta’s death later forced Hanjin to retreat and preserve the Augusta Clan.

• Oufu unleashed Transcendence of Reincarnation, but Huosi survived the attack with a material-defense Supreme Artifact earned from the seventh Supreme God mission.
• Oufu conceded the battle and left, while the Sovereigns recognized that the era of the Four Rule Sovereigns had ended.
• Tens of thousands of years later, news of Augusta’s death spread, and Hanjin ordered the Augusta Clan to abandon outlying territories and reduce its holdings.
• Hanjin led the weakened Augusta Clan through its retreat, preserving its core as an ordinary Asura clan.

Huosi gave Adkins a Sovereign Spark, making him the Chief Sovereign of Light, while Linley unexpectedly found two lost Sovereign Sparks after reaching Highgod in fire. Linley became the Earth Sovereign, and the Wind Sovereign Spark remained in his possession.

• Huosi gave Adkins a Sovereign Spark, and Adkins became the Chief Sovereign of Light.
• Adkins challenged Leilin, Pusiluo, and Beirut to spar, revealing his new power to Leilin and Beirut while beating Pusiluo.
• Adkins began dealing with the other Sovereigns and learned about Huosi's battle with Oufu.
• Linley raised his fire divine clone to Highgod and tore through space, finding a Wind Sovereign Spark and an Earth Sovereign Spark.

After finding a Sovereign Spark in spatial turbulence, Linley became a Wind Sovereign and learned about the Sovereigns’ power from Adkins. As Linley searched for envoys for the Plane War, he encountered Buleile and suspected he belonged to the Bula Clan.

• Adkins urged Linley to secretly refine the Sovereign Spark, explained the hierarchy and powers of the Sovereigns, and Linley agreed to help Huosi before becoming a Wind Sovereign in spatial turbulence.
• The tenth Plane War began between the Celestial Realm and Hell, and Adkins brought the Twelve-Winged Angel to oppose Oufu while Bote'er searched for a countermeasure.
• Linley traveled the Xuanwu Continent with Beibei and William to find envoys for the Plane Battlefield, but found no experts comparable to Raystine.
• William introduced Buleile, whose unusually gentle personality led Linley to suspect that he belonged to the Bula Clan.

Linley recruited Buleile as a potential Chief God's Envoy, then killed Bote'er after Bote'er attacked him over Oufu's claim on Buleile. The Sovereigns ruled Linley had not broken their agreement, and during the Plane War Oufu praised Buleile while Huosi hinted that Linley might one day surpass Oufu.

• Linley learned Buleile belonged to the Bula Clan and brought him to his Darkness Divine Clone, then offered him the chance to become a Chief God's Envoy.
• Bote'er interrupted Linley as he was about to bestow a Sovereign Artifact, claimed Oufu wanted Buleile, and attacked Linley.
• Linley killed Bote'er with his ultimate sword intent and refined Bote'er's Sovereign Spark.
• At the Sovereign meeting, Adkins explained that Bote'er had attacked first, and the Destruction, Death, and Life Sovereigns ruled Linley innocent.
• During the Plane War, Oufu praised Buleile, while Huosi told Oufu that Linley might one day surpass him.

As Linley matched Oufu in battle, Oufu asked him to use his strongest attack after refining his fourth Sovereign Spark, while Huosi completed his own transformation and sent Sovereign Sparks to Beirut, Leilin, and Pusiluo.

• Oufu investigated Linley's past, concluded that Linley was a four-element soul mutant, and asked him to spar so he could explore new possibilities.
• Oufu demonstrated a technique combining earth, wind, water, and fire, and Linley used the insight to fuse four Laws, gain two portions of Sovereign will, and reach Paragon in earth.
• Linley fought Oufu to a standstill, shocking the other Sovereigns, and Oufu asked Linley to unleash his strongest attack after refining his fourth Sovereign Spark in exchange for Oufu's Supreme Artifact and Transcendence of Reincarnation.
• Huosi entered System Space and fused his Sovereign Sparks and Sovereign's Might, losing his divine clones and heaven-and-earth-granted willpower as he gained absolute control over the universe.
• Huosi sent Sovereign Sparks to Beirut, Leilin, and Pusiluo and told them to refine them and go to the spatial turbulence.

Huosi revealed that he had transcended the Subordinate Universe, and he guided Linley into the Hongmeng Space, where Linley became its second Controller. After countless evolutions, Huosi, Hongmeng, and Linley opened a door to a vast new universe, where Huosi found his former life and the author who had written him into a story.

• Beirut, Leilin, and Pusiluo appeared as Sovereigns, and Huosi gave Linley a Water Sovereign Spark that transformed him and allowed him to create Sovereign Sparks.
• Huosi opened the Spatial Turbulence, and he and Linley traveled to the Hongmeng Space to meet Hongmeng.
• Hongmeng explained the wider cosmos to Linley, who signed the Hongmeng Golden List and became Linmeng, the second Controller of the Hongmeng Space.
• After countless evolutions, Huosi, Hongmeng, and Linley infused the System Space with Hongmeng Spiritual Energy and opened a door to a new universe.
• Hongmeng headed toward the universe's center while Linley explored the blue planet, and Huosi found his former teachers, classmates, and the author who had written about him.
