Once they realized the client might be someone they knew, everyone immediately relaxed.

The four of them chatted and laughed along the way, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
But after walking for about a day and a half, they still hadn't seen a single cloud in the sky.

The four immediately broke into a run again. By the next morning, they had finally reached the Land of Rain.
The vast stretches of marshland showed that this was indeed the Land of Rain, but the sky was cloudless and the sun shone brightly.
