Even Kakuzu had no idea what the situation in Rain Province was like now. What if something happened while they were traveling alone?
"Besides, I'll send a clone to oversee things in Rain Province. If anything comes up, you can talk to my clone directly."
Minato, Yahiko, and Konan all nodded. They knew that for something this important, Torifu wouldn't send just a few shinobi.
The three of them then discussed the details with Torifu, including whose orders they should follow once they arrived and various other arrangements.
Torifu was like a father seeing his children off on a long journey. He always had endless reminders for them.
"All right, that's the plan. You can get your things ready. When the main group from Konoha sets out, find some people to travel with."
Minato nodded. "You got it, Big Brother. I'll take good care of Yahiko and Konan."
With that, Minato went back inside to pack. They would probably be leaving within the next couple of days.
Yahiko and Konan went back to pack as well, gathering everything useful and putting it into their Sealing Scrolls.
The scrolls were practically essential for any shinobi traveling far from home. They could carry food, water, and various necessities.
They weren't as convenient as Space Rings, but they were essentially the same kind of thing.
After the three children left, Torifu was about to get up and stretch his legs. He'd been lying in his chair for so long that he was getting stiff.
Just then, his phone rang.
"Hello, Lord Hokage. With everything that's happened, are we still having dinner at your place tonight?"
Torifu smiled. "Of course. Chirori's already gone out to buy groceries. What's happening in Rain Province won't affect Konoha for now, and it won't ruin our dinner either."
