He had never been here before, but everything was exactly the same as the Kumonaka Clan Grounds.
The Cloud Mist had all dispersed, and everything around him had come into focus. Only then did Torifu realize that he was actually standing in a valley.
A ring of mountains surrounded the place. They were just the right height to let the sunlight shine in.
Looking closely, the peaks seemed to have been worked on, with many areas left bare.
"What the hell is this place?"
Torifu wasn't sure whether he was asking himself or the system. No one answered him.
His baffled voice echoed through the valley, hollow and clear.
With no one to answer him, he could only explore on his own. The courtyard, though, was an absolute mess.
Weeds and fallen leaves covered the entire courtyard. It was about the same size as the Kumonaka Clan Grounds and could probably house over a hundred people if it were fully occupied.
Still, Torifu thought it was probably the private residence of some ancestor of the Kumonaka Clan, perhaps used as a vacation home.
He had no idea why the system had led him here.
But whatever the reason, if he wanted to explore, he had to clean up first.
He pointed a finger at the ground. Flames sprang from his fingertip and spread across the earth.
The weeds and fallen leaves were all flammable, and the fire spread through the entire courtyard in no time.
But under Torifu's control, the flames only cleared away the debris, leaving everything else untouched.
In just a minute, all the debris had burned away, leaving the courtyard covered in black ash.
A small Cloud Sphere was all he needed to take care of that.
