Tsunade remembered her younger brother only as he had been when he was a boy. Back then, Nawaki seemed not to know what it meant to be troubled.
He had clung to her every day. Looking back on those days, life had truly been wonderful.
"How long can you stay this time?" Tobirama asked.
Last time, Hiruzen Sarutobi had stayed here for a few days before leaving.
He didn't want his granddaughter to return to that sorrowful world just after regaining her family.
Torifu spread his hands. "As long as you like. If she wants, she can stay in Konoha forever and never go back."
"Or I could give her special permission to travel between the worlds whenever she wants. Either way works."
Tobirama's eyes lit up. "That's a good idea."
If Tsunade Senju could travel between the worlds freely, she could go wherever she wanted without being tied down.
Tsunade Senju's cloudy eyes gradually brightened, too.
Her grandparents hadn't rejected her for being from another world. Instead, they were trying to find a way for her to stay in this one.
She hadn't felt the warmth of family in a long time.
Now that she had found it again after losing it, Tsunade Senju cherished it deeply. She was also incredibly grateful to Torifu.
At first, Tsunade Senju had thought little of this world. She hadn't believed that her grandparents were still alive.
But now, she was surrounded by the family she had longed for day and night. The feeling was wonderful.
Tsunade Senju didn't want to leave at all.
"Enough standing around. Let's go inside and talk."
Mito smiled and patted Tsunade Senju on the shoulder. "Come on in. I'll go buy some groceries and make you something delicious for lunch."
With that, she turned and left.
