Then Inoichi Yamanaka respectfully asked Torifu, "Lord Torifu, when are we going to Konoha?"
Torifu linked them together with Cloud Release. "Whenever you're ready."
The next second, they appeared above Konoha.
The rushing air made it hard to keep their eyes open, but they could still see the grandeur of Konoha!
"It really is like a great city! It's expanded so much!"
Minato Namikaze, the clan heads, and even Orochimaru were all so stunned by the sight before them that they couldn't speak.
Their village had gone decades without a single expansion.
Yet Konoha had expanded twice—and on such a massive scale!
The newer buildings didn't match the old village's style and looked somewhat out of place, but that didn't matter at all!
It wasn't even worth mentioning.
Minato Namikaze gazed at the Hokage Rock carved into the cliff, feeling deeply moved.
"Lord Hashirama! Lord Tobirama! This is Lord Torifu! And the last one is me!"
Both versions of himself in the two worlds were Hokage. It felt wonderful.
Lord Third was only the Third Hokage in his own village.
In this village, the Third Hokage was Lord Torifu.
Minato Namikaze had always thought Hiruzen Sarutobi was incredibly capable, both in war and in governing the village. So why hadn't he been chosen in this world?
What had Hokage Torifu done to earn the villagers' approval?
Minato Namikaze couldn't help himself. Whenever a question occurred to him, he asked it.
"Lord Torifu, what did you do to become Hokage?"
At his words, everyone else stiffened. Asking such a sensitive question way up in the sky—did he have a death wish?
Torifu, however, answered casually. "It wasn't anything much. I think my master and Lord Tobirama had already planned for me to become Hokage a long time ago."
Minato Namikaze nodded.
