Memories of the past came rushing back, but why were all three adults so young?
The two were confused, but didn't dare ask too many questions.
Sure enough, it wasn't long before Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō arrived at the meeting room.
As soon as they saw Hashirama and the others, they bowed.
"Lord Hashirama, Lady Mito, and Master, you've finally come to our village. I've been looking forward to this for so long."
Tobirama smiled faintly. "You little monkey, it's only been a few months since we last met. What's there to look forward to?"
Hiruzen shook his head. "Master, it's different. As the Third Hokage of Konoha, I naturally want you to come and see my village."
"Though it certainly can't compare to the village under Hokage Torifu and Chirori, I've still put my heart into building it."
Hashirama approved of his words. "I understand. I also know what you've been through. You were so young when you were thrust into the role of Hokage in a time of crisis. It couldn't have been easy."
"Fortunately, the village had all of you. Otherwise, Konoha might have changed hands by now."
Konoha held a very important place in Hashirama's heart.
Although this Konoha was underdeveloped, at least it still existed and was functioning on its own.
It had plenty of problems, both big and small, but those were nothing to fear. They could build things up gradually and bring the two villages' ideas and cultures together.
In time, those problems would slowly disappear.
