Cyril advanced to Scribe, endured Amon’s attack, and revealed his identity and plans to Klein. After meeting the Sanguine and helping Lawrence invoke his Honorific Name, Cyril faced an unseen attacker during the Full Moon ritual.

  • Cyril escaped the warehouse fight, while Ikanser’s attempt to question Arrodes ended with the mirror warning him about the danger of knowing.
  • Cyril met Amon at home, where Adam intervened and turned their confrontation into a performance that drove Amon away.
  • Adam explained that Cyril might need to surrender his Door Pathway characteristics and enter the Western Continent, while Amon agreed to cooperate on future matters.
  • Cyril revealed to Klein that he knew his identity, warned him about Amon, and offered leads for Faceless potion materials.
  • Cyril advanced to Scribe and discovered that his Record ability could capture special scenes as well as Beyonder abilities.
  • Cyril met Marquis Nibis, learned the Sanguine Progenitor’s oracle named him favored by Fate, and refused to trade his Scarlet Scholar item.
  • Cyril helped Lawrence invoke the Sublime from the Unknown, then sent Lawrence, Verdu, and Owen toward safety when an unseen attacker struck.
  • Cyril halted the attack briefly with Recorded abilities, but frost defeated his escape attempt, so he used the Scarlet Lunar Corona and Bernadette’s Mystical Reenactment to reveal a corrupted figure beside him.
Chapters 177–201 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 177Are You Sure You Want to Know?

After the warehouse battle, Klein, Sharron, and Maric escaped before the authorities arrived, while Cyril accepted the Traveler Potion formula from Verdu and left through a mirror. At the scene, Ikanser asked Arrodes who had taken part in the fight, and the mirror warned him about learning the answer.

  • Klein asked about Maric's injuries, and Sharron warned that the dangerous man had killed Steve by triggering contamination within him.
  • Klein detonated crimson flames around the warehouses and escaped; Sharron and Maric also left before the authorities reached the area.
  • Cyril accepted Verdu's Traveler Potion formula, memorized it, and burned the paper before refusing Verdu's offer to test the Full Moon remedy.
  • After Cyril left through a mirror, Verdu wondered whether a great being protected Owen and began writing a letter.
  • Clifford and Ikanser investigated the damaged warehouse, and Ikanser asked Arrodes to identify the participants in the fight.
  • Arrodes displayed the warning, "Are... you sure you want to know?"

Ch. 178The Great Emperor, I'm Sorry...

Ikanser and Clifford used Arrodes to investigate the ruined scene and saw several mysterious figures capable of interfering with divination, including a starlit figure that greeted them. Later, Cyril returned to Bernadette and translated Roselle’s diary, leaving her listening to its scandalous account of his affairs.

  • Ikanser asked Arrodes to identify ordinary participants involved in the scene, and the mirror showed a fire-wreathed performer and several distorted figures.
  • A starlit figure in the mirror greeted Ikanser and Clifford before Arrodes displayed more people whose forms resisted identification.
  • Ikanser told Clifford that suppressing Arrodes likely required an Angel, and the mirror then asked Ikanser a humiliating question about the man he liked.
  • Cyril returned late from a fight and found Bernadette waiting with a freshly copied page of Roselle’s diary.
  • Cyril began translating Roselle’s entries about an affair witnessed by the Earl of Champagne, and Bernadette snapped her steel pen before ordering him to continue.

Ch. 179Bernadette's Prophecy

After Bernadette warned Cyril of an uncertain future crisis or opportunity, he responded to Klein’s questions about his painting scrolls and received a warning from the Fool. In the City of Silver, Derrick deliberately depleted his Spirituality until he showed signs of losing control and was confined.

  • Bernadette glimpsed an uncertain future for Cyril and warned him not to blindly follow Fate before leaving abruptly.
  • Cyril reflected on his fighting strength, then heard Sherlock Moriarty pray to the Fool about retrieving Mystical Items, the Book of Secrets, and Cyril’s painting scrolls.
  • Cyril told Klein that he had made the painting scrolls himself and would not sell them, and the Fool warned him not to display his abilities before Orthodox Church Beyonders.
  • Klein examined the Book of Secrets, noticed its reference to worshipping the moon, and wondered about a possible connection to the Life School of Thought.
  • Derrick reported hallucinations after draining his Spirituality for two days, and Dawn Knights confined him in the Round Tower after a sedative calmed his symptoms.
  • Derrick heard violent pounding, cries, and sobbing from a nearby room, and he watched the metal wall tensely.

Ch. 180Blood Clan Invitation

Derrick survived a mysterious assault on a metal wall, while Cyril discussed the Primordial Moon and the East District’s suffering with Klein above the Gray Fog. After Emlyn delivered an invitation from the ancient Sanguine marquis Nibis, Cyril repeatedly divined that the meeting was unrelated to the danger Bernadette had foreseen, though he wondered if his divination had been interfered with.

  • Derrick heard pounding on a metal wall, saw a silver-white light stop it, and then heard knocking from another wall.
  • Cyril told Klein that the Sanguine worship their Progenitor Lilith and warned him that the Primordial Moon’s Honorific Name could cause everything to become pregnant and give birth.
  • Klein described textile workers protesting in the East District and worried that its hardship could make it a breeding ground for evil gods.
  • Emlyn told Cyril that the Sanguine marquis Nibis wanted to meet him at a manor in Backlund’s North Borough within a week.
  • Cyril repeatedly used coin divination to check whether the Sanguine meeting was connected to Bernadette’s foreseen danger, and every result was negative.

Ch. 181The Uneasy "Sun"

At the Tarot Club gathering, Audrey traded Roselle’s Diary pages for a brief look at the Black Emperor Card of Blasphemy. Derrick described the holy relic guarding him in the City of Silver and asked Cyril about Amon, leaving Cyril wary of a strange intuition that had briefly stirred.

  • Audrey gave Klein three pages of Roselle’s Diary and asked to see the Card of Blasphemy; Klein let her inspect it briefly.
  • Derrick told Cyril he could not obtain the Spirit Eater’s Stomach yet because he was confined in the Round Tower.
  • Derrick explained that he feared the City of Silver’s holy relic might notice when he escaped, and described its silver flash, the silence that followed, and distant footsteps.
  • Cyril judged the relic was probably a Sequence 2 Glory artifact from the God of Giants Pathway and reassured Derrick that it likely could not detect him.
  • Derrick asked Cyril about Amon, and Cyril identified him as the Ancient Sun God’s second son, a King of Angels, Blasphemer, and God of Fraud.

Ch. 182Amon's Goal

Cyril explained that the prisoner in the City of Silver was likely an avatar of Amon, who had been waiting for someone connected to the Fool. Alger warned that Amon might target the Sun to steal the Fool’s power, and the chapter ended with Cyril offering to help Fors find Deep Sea Spearfish blood.

  • Derrick told the Tarot Club that the sole survivor of an exploration team had been imprisoned beside him for forty-two years after encountering someone claiming to be Amon.
  • Cyril explained that Amon could parasitize people and other things, and concluded that the prisoner was likely Amon’s avatar waiting for a target.
  • Alger shared that Amon was a blasphemer who knew how to steal the power of Gods, and warned that Amon might use Derrick to target the Fool.
  • Klein told Derrick to carry on as usual, while the other Tarot Club members interpreted his calm response as evidence that he had a plan.
  • Fors asked where she could find Deep Sea Spearfish blood, and Cyril offered to ask someone from the Abraham Family.

Ch. 183The Amon Invasion

At the Tarot Club, Cyril recruited members to collect Spirituality-rich materials, while Derrick faced an Amon-infected explorer in the City of Silver. Amon then appeared in Cyril’s home, hinted at his plans, and left Cyril confronting a slimy thing crawling from his nose.

  • Fors asked the Tarot Club for ways to make money, and Cyril offered a long-term commission to collect Spirituality-rich materials for his Extraordinary Paintings.
  • World and Hanged Man agreed to help, and World also asked the members to search for several Beyonder materials.
  • Derrick recognized that an exploration team member had been parasitized by Amon, but his prayer failed until brilliant light appeared and melted the monster.
  • Amon watched the light from a hillside, mentioned the Fool and Mr. Fate, and vanished into the darkness.
  • Cyril sensed danger after waking from the Tarot Club meeting, then found Amon waiting in his home, disguised as a doctor.
  • Amon said he had left a Worm of Time with a Lucky One and told Cyril Adam could not hear his mental calls, while a slimy thing slid from Cyril’s nostril.

Ch. 184The Tug-of-War

Cyril faced Amon’s probing questions and revealed that he knew the Ancient Sun God’s true backup plan for resurrection, prompting Amon to attack. Adam transformed the living room into the Bone Church and fought Amon through a golden figure of light, while Cyril concealed himself in a painting.

  • Amon questioned Cyril about the Fool’s identity and threatened to investigate the other people living in the house.
  • Cyril baited Amon by mentioning the Ancient Sun God’s true backup plan for resurrection, and Amon immediately attacked him.
  • Adam turned Cyril’s living room into the Bone Church and instructed him to use Fantasy to conceal himself.
  • Cyril became a portrait, put on a crystal Monocle, and tried to locate Amon, but the Monocle shattered as his painting cracked.
  • Adam manifested as a giant golden figure and attacked Amon with sacred light, while Amon fought back as a Sequence Two avatar.

Ch. 185Illusions and Imagination

Cyril escaped Amon’s attack by using an imagined double, then fled through the Mirror World while Amon tracked him. After praying to the Fool for help, Cyril found Amon waiting for him again in an attic.

  • Amon revealed that Adam had sealed Jacob’s Wallet and made Cyril forget about it, then used it to replenish his strength with Worms of Time.
  • Amon stole Cyril’s Beyonder ability and attacked him, but discovered that the Cyril he had struck was an Imagination construct created through an illusion.
  • Cyril escaped into the Mirror World and repeatedly used Illusory Doors to evade Amon, destroying a portrait when Amon found him through it.
  • Cyril returned to the Mirror World near his home, prayed to the Fool for help, and then found Amon sitting in an attic.

Ch. 186Adam's Script

Cyril survived Amon’s ambush and the Lord of Storms’ lightning with Adam’s help, and the experience fully digested his Astrologer Potions. Adam explained that he had arranged the crisis to absorb a flare-up of Fate’s self-correction, but Amon appeared in the Bone Church asking for a reward.

  • Cyril found Amon waiting at his home, and the Lord of Storms’ lightning destroyed the attic as they faced each other.
  • Adam protected Cyril from the lightning, while apparent destruction of the street was revealed as an illusion; the Lord of Storms’ attacks also drove Amon away.
  • Adam’s golden silhouette brought Cyril to the Bone Church, where Cyril read Adam’s account of the events and fully digested his Astrologer Potions.
  • Adam explained that Fate’s self-correction had caused Cyril’s bad luck and that he had used Amon’s arrival to arrange a performance and avert a later crisis.
  • Amon appeared behind Cyril in the Bone Church and asked Adam for a reward for cooperating with the performance.

Ch. 187Father-Son Showdown

Adam and Amon reached an agreement about Bethel’s return and the birth of the Lord of the Mysteries, while Cyril watched what appeared to be their staged battle. Adam then told Cyril he would have to give up his Door Pathway Characteristics to support the Lord of the Mysteries and might later need to retrieve things from the Western Continent.

  • Adam said the Fool would help Amon summon Bethel from exile when the time was right, and Amon accepted the arrangement.
  • Amon unleashed stolen darkness, and Adam answered with a grand battle involving Kings of Angels that Cyril watched from inside a dream.
  • Amon disappeared after telling Cyril he would cooperate with him on certain matters later and wait for him in the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
  • Adam confirmed that helping Bethel return was only one of the matters Amon had mentioned.
  • Adam told Cyril to surrender his Door Pathway Beyonder Characteristics to support the Lord of the Mysteries and said Cyril might need to enter the Western Continent to retrieve things that could help resist the Apocalypse.
  • Adam explained that the Door Pathway was Cyril’s best choice for reaching Sequence 0, though the world would also need a Sequence 0 Door before the Lord of the Mysteries was born.

Ch. 188The End and an Unexpected Visitor

Cyril agreed to support the birth of the Lord of the Mysteries in exchange for help against the High-Dimensional Overseer, then returned home after questioning Adam about his potion digestion and Amon. Ouroboros visited with a warning about the Forsaken Land of the Gods, and Cyril went above the gray fog to meet the Fool.

  • Cyril agreed to give up his characteristic if necessary to support the birth of the Lord of the Mysteries, while asking for help from the Beacon of Destiny against the High-Dimensional Overseer.
  • Adam explained that Cyril had digested the Astrologer Potion through the influence of powerful Beyonder witnesses and warned him that Leodero might target him.
  • Adam said that he could be the golden silhouette Cyril had seen, and suggested Amon may have appeared partly to confirm this.
  • Cyril returned home, found Amon's black leather wallet, and sealed it in a metal box.
  • The Fool sent a Paper Angel to protect Cyril, and Ouroboros visited, offered luck, then said Cyril should see his Lord when he went to the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
  • Cyril recited the Fool's Honorific Name and arrived at the palace above the gray fog.

Ch. 189Investment Was All About Going All In!

Cyril recounted his encounter with Adam and Amon to Klein, then concluded that they were targeting the Fool and urged Klein to speak frankly. He revealed that he had deduced Klein was the Fool, leaving Klein caught off guard as Cyril explained the signs that had exposed him.

  • Cyril told the Fool that Adam and Amon had met at Adam's Bone Church, and that Amon had left Backlund after the Lord of Storms destroyed many of his avatars.
  • Cyril described being taken by Adam to the Corpse Cathedral, falling into Adam's dream, and being greeted by Amon after he escaped.
  • The Fool agreed that Cyril could visit his divine kingdom to sort through his memories, while Cyril worried that Adam and Amon were conspiring against Klein.
  • Cyril warned that Amon's true target was probably the Fool and Adam would help him, then asked whether he should address him as the Fool, the World, or Sherlock.
  • Cyril explained that the unusually dense gray fog around Klein had led him to realize Klein was more than a Blessed and was likely an incarnation of a God.

Ch. 190Honest Discussion

Cyril revealed how he deduced that Sherlock Moriarty was Klein, then explained his arrival, his choice to side with Klein against Amon, and what he knew about Sefirah Castle. He offered Klein leads for the Faceless potion and planned to raid an Amon ruin himself after advancing to Scribe.

  • Cyril cited Roselle's Diary, Sherlock Moriarty's habits, and his similarities to the Fool as evidence that Klein and Sherlock were the same person; Klein dropped the Gray Fog and confirmed his identity.
  • Cyril said Amon targeted Klein because of Sefirah Castle, admitted he favored Klein over Amon, and revealed he had arrived in mid-August and received Adam's attention and help.
  • Cyril identified the space above the Gray Fog as Sefirah Castle and offered to help Klein purify a corrupted Beyonder Characteristic, but Klein declined.
  • Cyril gave Klein two leads for Faceless potion materials: a mutated Thousand-Faced Hunter's pituitary gland held by Backlund's Sanguine and a Skin Shadow in an Amon ruin near the Tussock River.
  • Cyril said he would soon advance to Scribe and retrieve something from the ruin, killing the Skin Shadow for Klein if he could; Klein then questioned Cyril's rapid potion digestion, and Cyril credited his talent.

Ch. 191You Can Call Me...

Klein learned why Cyrin had recognized him as a likely future Fool, while Cyrin offered only grand titles in return. Elsewhere, the Machinery Hivemind protected Cyrin from a Storm Church inquiry, and the Blue Avenger sailed toward the Rorsted Archipelago with seawater collected for Fate.

  • Cyrin told Klein he had suspected his identity from the start because Klein’s choice of the Fool suggested a powerful connection to that pathway and possibly a future as its Sequence.
  • When Klein asked Cyrin to reveal who he was, Cyrin said he could be called the Sublime from the Unknown, the Gate Beyond Dimensions, or the Incarnation of Art and Fantasy.
  • Clifford demanded Cyrin Gray’s information from Ikanser, but Ikanser refused to share it and warned him not to interfere with the Machinery Hivemind’s protection.
  • Horamick told Ikanser to follow the God of Steam and Machinery’s oracle, protect Cyrin by refusing other Churches’ requests, and offered him the Sequence 5 Astronomer Potion formula.
  • Aboard the Blue Avenger, the deep-blue-haired man collected seawater for Fate and continued sailing toward the Rorsted Archipelago.

Ch. 192Scribe

Cyril prepared and drank a Potion using glacial water and other symbolic ingredients, then endured a painful encounter with a vast entity while advancing to Scribe. After recovering, he discovered that his abilities had strengthened and his mutated Record power could capture and reproduce special scenes as well as Beyonder Abilities.

  • Cyril used a prayer to the Fool to obtain glacial water, and Klein delivered it from above the Gray Fog.
  • Cyril mixed the glacial water with lake water, seawater, mercury, Honeysuckle Essential Oil, Roselle's Diary pages, and a peculiar eyeball to prepare a Potion.
  • Cyril drank the Potion and, during his advancement, heard a malicious voice call him a thief and outsider before seeing a colossal eye behind an unbreakable barrier.
  • Cyril's divided thoughts reunited, and he recovered from the pain and transformed appearance caused by the advancement.
  • Cyril used his strengthened Object Manipulation and Mist Creation tricks to clean the damaged attic.
  • Cyril discovered that his mutated Scribe Record ability could capture special scenes as well as Beyonder Abilities, with the number and strength of recordings depending on their Sequence.

Ch. 193A Record Worth 50 Pounds

Cyril explored his new Scribe abilities, recorded more than twenty of Klein’s Magician abilities for 50 pounds, and visited Harvest Cathedral. He told Emlyn he would meet an important Sanguine figure the next night, leaving Emlyn shocked that Cyril had already advanced to Sequence 6.

  • Cyril tested his improved dimensional control by restoring the attic floor and connecting its door to his bedroom.
  • Cyril visited Klein and recorded more than twenty of his Magician abilities, agreeing to charge 50 pounds against Klein’s debt.
  • Cyril and Klein moved outdoors to record Air Bullet after Klein accidentally shattered a vase inside his house.
  • Cyril went to Harvest Cathedral to see Father Utravsky and told Emlyn he planned to meet an important Sanguine figure the following night.
  • Emlyn learned Cyril had advanced to Sequence 6 and lamented that he had not yet found a chance to get revenge.

Ch. 194The Middleman

Cyril recorded Father Utravsky’s Storm of Light, while Sharron asked Klein to arrange a trade with Cyril for the Scarlet Lunar Corona. After translating a page of Roselle’s Diary about an uncharted island, Cyril asked Bernadette to let him record the magic that revealed an incomplete Mythical Creature Form, and she questioned whether he could bear to see it.

  • Cyril asked Father Utravsky to demonstrate a Dawn Knight ability and recorded Storm of Light in exchange for gathering Spirituality-rich herbs.
  • Sharron asked Klein to act as a middleman in a trade with Cyril, offering a Mystical Item and a lead to a Fourth Epoch ruin for the Scarlet Lunar Corona.
  • Bernadette recognized that Cyril had advanced to Scribe and asked him to translate a page of Roselle’s Diary about an uncharted island and Green’s death.
  • Bernadette tried to foresee the uncharted island’s secrets but found them impossible to foresee.
  • Cyril asked Bernadette to let him record the magic that revealed an incomplete Mythical Creature Form, and she asked whether he could look at it directly.

Ch. 195The Sanguine Oracle

Cyril successfully recorded an illusory ability from Bernadette, then accompanied Emlyn to meet Marquis Nibis. Nibis revealed that he had summoned Cyril because he received a divine oracle from The Progenitor.

  • Bernadette used her knowledge-filled form twice, and Cyril recorded an illusory heaviness on the second attempt.
  • Emlyn escorted Cyril to Marquis Nibis's estate in the North Borough, where Cosmi Odora led Cyril to the marquis.
  • Cyril spoke with Marquis Nibis, who explained the Sanguine's reluctance to act against Emlyn because of Mother Earth's possible response.
  • Marquis Nibis told Cyril that he had received a divine oracle from The Progenitor.

Ch. 196Nibis's Goodwill

Cyril met the ancient Sanguine Nibis, who shared an oracle claiming Cyril would help the Moon return to its rightful place and offered the Sanguine’s goodwill. After discussing the Ghost Empire and Fourth Epoch history, Cyril left the underground chamber with Cosmi and reunited with Emlyn.

  • Nibis showed Cyril an oracle from the Sanguine Progenitor naming him favored by Fate and predicting he would help the Moon return to its rightful place.
  • Nibis said the Sanguine had no plans to act on the oracle yet and explained that they only wanted to meet Cyril and establish goodwill.
  • Cyril declined to trade his mystical item containing the 'Scarlet Scholar' characteristic, despite Nibis’s offer to buy or exchange it.
  • Nibis told Cyril that the Ghost Empire was a failed attempt by the 'Night Emperor’s' blood descendants to resurrect him and that its people were neither alive nor dead.
  • Cyril spoke with Nibis about Fourth Epoch history until Nibis returned to slumber, then Cosmi learned that Cyril had refused to sell the mystical item.
  • Cyril and Cosmi returned to the hall and met Emlyn, who had been waiting for him.

Ch. 197The Successive Prayers

Cyril visited Harvest Cathedral and asked the Mother Goddess to verify the Sanguine’s revelation that he was their Chosen One. Klein later relayed Miss Sharron’s proposed trade and requests from Alger and Fors to Cyril, while Fors worried that Mr. Fate’s involvement might endanger the old gentleman she had met.

  • Cyril visited Harvest Cathedral with Emlyn, told him Marquis Nibis planned to invest in him as the Sanguine’s Chosen One, and asked Father Utravsky to seek the Mother Goddess’s guidance.
  • Cyril suggested Emlyn was suited to serve as a priest, prompting Emlyn to insist that his faith belonged to the Moon.
  • Klein told Cyril that Miss Sharron offered a Sequence 5 Corpse Collector Mystical Item and information about a Fourth Epoch ruin near Backlund in exchange for the Scarlet Lunar Corona, and Cyril agreed to trade after recording its abilities.
  • Alger asked Mr. Fool to have Cyril consider exchanging valuable information for the Wind-blessed Potion formula, and Klein passed along the request.
  • Fors told Mr. Fool she feared an Abraham Family member she had met could uncover her secrets, and Klein said Mr. Fate would handle the matter.
  • Fors wondered whether Cyril’s involvement could endanger the old gentleman and debated whether she should clarify her intentions to Mr. Fool.

Ch. 198Memorial

Cyrin met the aging Astrologer Lawrence Nord at his son Roboro’s grave and invited him to meet Verdu Garcia, a descendant of the Abraham Family. Meanwhile, Father Utravsky told Emlyn that the Mother Goddess had answered the previous night’s question and warned him to stay on guard.

  • Lawrence Nord mourned at Roboro Nord’s grave, and Cyrin conjured Golden Leaf Flowers for him from a painting.
  • Cyrin identified Lawrence as connected to the Abraham Family and said Verdu Garcia could meet him; Lawrence’s divination showed a favorable outcome but left him weakened.
  • Cyrin entered Verdu’s inn room and told him about Lawrence, prompting Verdu to ask where he was.
  • Father Utravsky told Emlyn that the Mother Goddess had answered their question and cautioned him to remain wary.

Ch. 199Would You Take a Chance?

Cyril proposed that Lawrence risk reciting an Honorific Name during an artificial Full Moon to seek protection, and Lawrence agreed. After returning home, Cyril received a warning from Lilith to trust only some of what he had heard, then learned through House that the Church of Storms was investigating his incarnation and wondered why the Church of Steam had refused to help them.

  • Cyril and Verdu visited Lawrence, who explained that he had come to Backlund searching for his deceased brother and sister-in-law.
  • Cyril urged Lawrence to recite an Honorific Name during a Full Moon, and Lawrence agreed to risk the attempt for the Abraham Family's sake.
  • Cyril used a living pen to write the Honorific Name and gave the instructions to Lawrence before Verdu took him home.
  • Cyril found a note relaying Lilith's warning that he could trust some of the revelation but should remain vigilant, then burned the note and meditated.
  • House reported that Storm followers were investigating Cyril's incarnation and that Ikanser had rejected their request for help; Cyril told House to wait and pray again when they made a move.
  • Cyril wondered why the Church of Steam had refused to assist the Church of Storms.

Ch. 200Changes Above the Dimensions

Cyril discovered that his power above the dimensions could store spiritual radiance and send a symbol to Lawrence in response to his prayer. That night, he joined Lawrence, Verdu, and Owen outside South Bridge District to expose Lawrence to the Full Moon, and Lawrence began to suffer its effects.

  • Cyril suspected the Church of Steam had been protecting him and wondered whether the God of Steam and Machinery had heard his prayer.
  • Cyril absorbed Lawrence’s sacrificed spiritual items into a hazy Night Veil and found he could preserve an imprint of his recorded living room above the dimensions.
  • Cyril sent Lawrence a star that became a symbol on his palm, and Lawrence told Verdu that the existence had responded and they could proceed that night.
  • Lawrence and Verdu agreed to keep the revelation from the Council of Elders, then decided to visit a young family member in Backlund.
  • Cyril, Lawrence, Verdu, and Owen arrived outside South Bridge District at night, and Verdu Teleported away with Owen before Cyril activated the Scarlet Lunar Corona.
  • The Full Moon descended, and Lawrence collapsed as his skin turned transparent and worms writhed beneath it.

Ch. 201The Powerful "Ugly Duckling" Magic

Lawrence survived the Full Moon after Cyril answered his plea and tasked him with helping establish a Beyonder organization in Backlund. As Cyril and his companions tried to escape an approaching attacker, Cyril was caught in a dangerous clash and revealed a strange, corrupted form.

  • Lawrence invoked the Honorific Name of The Sublime from the Unknown, and Cyril stopped the terrifying language affecting him.
  • Cyril instructed Lawrence to help his Blessed establish a Beyonder organization in Backlund in exchange for protection from the Full Moon.
  • Cyril sensed danger and sent Lawrence, Verdu, and Owen toward Verdu's phantom door as an unseen attacker targeted them.
  • Cyril used Recorded abilities to halt the attack briefly, but his attempt to escape with Flaming Jump failed when frost extinguished the flames.
  • Cyril wielded the Scarlet Lunar Corona and used Bernadette's Mystical Reenactment of the Ugly Duckling, revealing a transparent, corrupted figure beside him.
