"Buddy, let me tell you!"
At Tony Stark's Malibu seaside villa, his birthday party was in full swing. Out on the balcony, Tony supported Oaks, whose face was flushed red as he vigorously waved a bottle, looking utterly helpless.
"Nick Fury is a bastard!
"I... I fucking knew he was shameless, but he's the goddamn director of S.H.I.E.L.D... and he actually slapped himself in the face right in front of me!"
"Gulp..."
Oaks raised the bottle and drained the last swallow of top-shelf whiskey. He let out a long, satisfied belch, then gritted his teeth, tossed the bottle away, and grabbed Tony's shoulders to shake him.
"Huh? Can you imagine it? Where's his integrity? That fucking bald egg has no integrity! How much does a bald egg cost by the pound?
"Head of the spies? Yeah, that's right, he's a scumbag, a liar, a son of a bitch!
"Ptooey!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa~ Oaks, my good man, bald egg... pfft..."
Tony nearly laughed himself breathless. It was the first time he had ever seen Oaks like this. Only now did he feel that Oaks truly was an impatient young man.
"Uh, I mean, just what did he do to piss you off?"
"I... hic!
"He wanted to slip his own people into my tech company, so I slapped him back and made a deal with him. But damn it, he actually sent another agent to the Benevolence Society!
"Even if he sends more people to the Benevolence Society, they'll only be working for me. But he's fucking trying to disgust me!"
Oaks widened his eyes and stared at Tony so intensely that goosebumps rose all over him.
"Hey, hey, buddy... is the reason you don't like women because you like men?!
"But maybe I can find someone else to help you..."
