Background / History

Leian is a transmigrant who awakened in the Yulan Plane before the cataclysmic war of ten thousand years earlier. Knowing the importance of strength in the coming age, he devoted himself to cultivation with the specific aim of reaching the Saint Realm and protecting his family. His mature soul gave him unusual self-discipline, allowing him to surpass his peers despite lacking the Dragonblood Warrior bloodline. 1

At twelve, he entered Baron Laman's service as a third-rank warrior. A failed elemental-affinity crystal test led Laman to suspect an affinity for one of the Four Edicts; Leian successfully cultivated Destruction Battle Qi on his first attempt with the Black Stone Battle Method. 1

While serving as a guard captain, Leian secretly investigated Laman's scheme to control him with Heart-Eroding Potion. After the fall of the Laman and Cleo families, he acquired the Cleo Family inheritance, including cultivation manuals, the Magic Beast Transformation secret art, wealth, and a ninth-level Destruction-attribute magic core. 2 6
