Background / History

Mosen led the wealthy Mosen Tribe, whose Puppet-Glue Trees produced resin used to make death puppets. This resource made the tribe a frequent target of surrounding tribes. Under Mosen and two other Highgods, the tribe also maintained thousands of Midgod guards. 62

When three hostile Highgods—Baro, Hariwei, and Haiman—demanded the tribe’s Puppet-Glue Tree, Mosen refused, beginning a tribal war. 64 He opened the conflict with a surprise soul attack and later exposed a hidden Highgod avatar, using it to kill one of the enemy Highgods. 65

After Fred of the Boyi Clan intervened and took the Puppet-Glue Tree, Mosen leveraged his connection to Mercury Castle to secure permission for his people to leave. He departed in a black tiger-shaped metal lifeform with Leian, Sparrow, and six other Midgods. 66

Fred’s group ambushed the fleeing party to seize an item in Mosen’s possession, later identified as a Puppet Crystal. Mosen fought using Fire and Earth God Clones, killed Fred and Craven, and then eliminated the black-robed elder with Blazing Sun Explosion. Leian ultimately killed him with Body as Sword and claimed his Fire-style Highgod spark and corpse. 67 71

Personality

Mosen was calculating and difficult to deceive. He immediately questioned why Fred’s ambush had killed the weaker Bandar rather than the stronger Craven if Fred’s real objective was the item Mosen carried. 67

He was also pragmatic under pressure. Rather than fleeing at once when Fred appeared, he negotiated for his tribe’s survival by invoking his Mercury Castle connection. 66

Mosen Tribe War

Mosen’s tribe became the target of neighboring forces because of its Puppet-Glue Trees. He refused to surrender the trees and led the tribe into war against Baro, Hariwei, and Haiman. 62 64

His hidden Highgod avatar shifted the battle by killing an opposing Highgod, but Fred’s arrival on behalf of the Boyi Clan ended the conflict. Fred took the Puppet-Glue Tree and permitted Mosen’s people to leave. 65 66

Ambush and Death

While evacuating, Mosen was ambushed by Fred, Craven, and a black-robed elder over the Puppet Crystal. He outlasted all three attackers, but was immediately killed by Leian’s Body as Sword after the battle. 67

Mosen’s death left the Puppet Crystal, his Soul Defense Artifact, and other possessions in Leian’s hands, drawing continued attention from Fred and the Boyi Clan. 68 71
