With both maps and her warning, Diana's group should be able to figure out that the entire area was dangerous.

If they hadn't landed on the other side of Karim Planet, they should be able to see the outline of this enormous humanoid, too.
If they were on the opposite hemisphere, there was nothing to be done.
But since she had already warned them, Diana's group would find a way to verify it.
