Background / History

Lan Qingyou was originally a bedridden Blue Star human whose legs had been paralyzed for five years. Following her transportation to Karim, she awakened Lightness Technique, allowing her to compensate for her disability through weightlessness and flight. 3 4 Her paralysis was caused by Huang Xingming and Huang Wei, whose actions against her became the foundation of her later revenge. 182 258

She was a member of Tarot Villa known as The Tower. Early in the survival period, she recognized Gu Xiaobei's potential and connected her with Li Huai when Gu Xiaobei needed stone bowls for her mana-restoring food business. 26

Lan Qingyou established herself as an alchemist soon after arriving in Karim. She mass-produced Mana Potions, built a monopoly through potion sales, and exchanged her products for the materials needed to expand her research. 14 39 Her early research included talent-enhancing potion theory, which was based on her belief that talents originate from a person's spirit and desire. 55
