Background

Yang Wuhui was separated from the Breaking Clan after a succession dispute: when his father became clan head, he left after reaching Soul Elder rank and remained absent for years. The resulting resentment lingered into his reunion with his nephew, Yang Wudi. 6

He returned to the Breaking Clan to obtain the clan head-only Immortal Herb Codex, a record of rare medicinal herbs compiled by generations of Yang ancestors. After Yang Wudi willingly handed it over and swore secrecy, Yang Wuhui revealed Yang Ziyuan's potential as a god successor and enlisted the clan's resources for his grandson's God Trial. 6

Yang Wuhui holds a lasting grudge against the Clear Sky Sect for abandoning the four single-attribute clans. He intends to make the Breaking Clan strong enough that even Martial Soul Hall cannot stand against it, while forcing the Clear Sky Sect to answer for the deaths of the abandoned clansmen. 6

Personality

Yang Wuhui is intensely protective of his family, particularly Yang Ziyuan. Upon discovering Ziyuan's Innate Domain and extraordinary innate soul power, he immediately imposed strict secrecy on the Yang Family, treating any leak as betrayal and warning Ziyuan never to reveal the domain without sufficient strength. 2

Though often blunt-tempered and intimidating, he is pragmatic. He accepted Prince Xue Xing's spirit-bone gift after recognizing it as an unavoidable political maneuver, planning to leave before the prince could exploit their influence. 32 He also trusts Ziyuan's judgment: his initial caution over the Heaven-Swallowing Python gave way to support after seeing his grandson's strength. 12

As a clan elder, he has little patience for complacency. He publicly reprimands Breaking Clan members who perform poorly in their God Trials or misuse their status, believing the clan cannot prosper while such conduct goes unchecked. 161
