Luo Can stepped out of the stone chamber and stretched, feeling refreshed from head to toe. Qian Renxue and Ju Zi followed behind him, one on either side, their hair slightly loosened at the temples, their faces rosy, and their eyes still heavy with languor.
"Dai Mubai has already set off." Qian Renxue raised a hand to smooth her wind-tousled hair and calmly relayed the information her Clone had sent back. "He left overnight without even taking any attendants. He's taking remote official roads toward the Balak Kingdom. It looks like he wants to stay out of Dai Weisi's sight."
Luo Can nodded, rubbing his chin with his fingertips. "Faster than we expected. It seems Dai Weisi is putting him under even more pressure than we thought."
"All the better if he's desperate to run." Qian Renxue narrowed her eyes and smiled. "Once he stumbles into Shrek Academy on his own, our show can begin."
Luo Can looked across the valley toward Suotuo City. "The disciples have been at Skyward Academy for a while now. I'll go see how they're settling in. What about you two?"
"Go ahead." Qian Renxue nodded. "Ju Zi and I can handle the follow-up orders for Tang Yuehua's medicines. I still need to inspect the second batch of medicinal ingredients myself."
Luo Can flickered, turning into a streak of pale golden light that vanished into the morning mist in an instant.
Skyward Academy had been built along the mountainside in a hollow outside Suotuo City. It was not particularly grand in scale, but it was neat and clean.
