Holy Spirit Cult membership

Na Nali’s Fear Bell was regarded as a Born Evil Martial Soul, leading other continental powers to ostracize her. After attracting the Holy Spirit Cult leadership’s attention, she sought its protection. Joining was easier than leaving; becoming a Heavenly King gave her greater freedom without providing the life she wanted 108.

Her cultivation did not require devouring living beings. Instead, the Fear Bell absorbed fear and vengeful spirits, enabling her to become a Super Douluo shortly after turning thirty 85.

Pursuit of Lu Li

In Tiandou City, Na Nali pressured Lu Li into accompanying her by threatening to involve Leng Yulai. Over a late-night meal, she revealed that she had protected Uncle Zhen from assassination attempts because of her feelings for Lu Li. She sought his contact information and a hug, then surprised him with a kiss before leaving 33 34.

Her search later took her toward Shrek City and then Eastsea City. After finding him, she openly pursued a romantic relationship. While drunk, she proposed a duel: if she won, he would recognize her as his girlfriend. Lu Li’s Four-Word Battle Armor and domain overwhelmed her, and she asked whether they could still reconcile as friends 69 79 82 85.

After another drinking episode, Lu Li cared for her overnight. The following morning, Dark Blood Demon ordered her to kill him. At Lu Li’s suggestion, she accepted the assignment as a cover to prevent the cult from sending unknown attackers, choosing his safety over the order’s actual purpose. She subsequently moved into his home and was introduced to Gu Yue as his girlfriend 86 88 89 96.

Defection and domestic life

Na Nali told Lu Li that she wanted to leave the Holy Spirit Cult and walk a righteous path with him. Although she feared cultivators stronger than Rank 98, his support made departure seem possible. Lu Li later explicitly described her choice as defecting from the cult to remain with him 108 147.

She also recognized Lu Li’s feelings for Leng Yaozhu and encouraged him to acknowledge them. Her acceptance developed into a close partnership with Leng Yaozhu, while she increasingly treated Lingling as family and supported Lingling’s own relationship with Lu Li 132 334 335 356.

Her first major target was Qiangu Dongfeng. Once Lu Li suppressed his protective Soul-Absorbing Tablet, she extracted and refined his soul into absolute obedience. She then returned it to his body, allowing him to resume leading the Spirit Pagoda while secretly serving her group. Dark Blood Demon, Cai Xukun, became her second subordinate and a planted agent within the Holy Spirit Cult 230 231 256.

The bell’s stored records later exposed Qiangu Dongfeng’s agreement with Ghost Emperor: the Holy Spirit Cult planned to steal three Federation Level 12 God Slayer fixed-installation Soul Tool shells and attack Shrek Academy 258.

Later activities

Na Nali accompanied Lu Li’s group to Star Luo Continent, balancing their business with sightseeing and shared leisure. After returning, she remained within his inner circle as he prepared for possible threats from Tang Hao and Ah Yin 341 361 376.

In the Dragon Realm, she questioned why Ah Yin would cooperate with a plan involving Tang Hao. When the couple’s relationship deteriorated, Na Nali was irritated by Tang Hao’s suspicions of Lu Li and uneasy about Ah Yin potentially joining their side 392 395.
