Background

Jiang Fengxian was born to a human Golden Core cultivator and a member of the Heavenly Phoenix Clan. Her father was forcibly taken away by his father, the Heavenly Phoenix Clan’s Second Elder, after Jiang Fengxian’s mother became pregnant. The conflicting human and Heavenly Phoenix bloodlines in Fengxian’s unborn body nearly killed her; her mother used a lifespan-draining secret technique to preserve her life, then died before Fengxian was five years old. 515

Before dying, her mother ordered her to conceal her Heavenly Phoenix bloodline, avoid Nascent Soul cultivators before reaching the Golden Core Stage, and not seek her father in the Savage Jungle before attaining the Nascent Soul Stage.
