The Heavenly Ranking first descended shortly after Lu Xia broke through to level 99. Its initial manifestation displayed the forthcoming Beauty Ranking, immediately drawing the attention of factions across the continent. 1

Its early rankings transformed the balance of power among the continent's major factions. Beauty Ranking rewards rapidly increased recipients' Soul Power and soul-ring ages, while later Martial Soul Ranking rewards elevated multiple Title Douluo into the Super Douluo realm or strengthened Qingyun Academy's students and teachers. 7 19 63 70

As further categories appeared, the Ranking shifted from recognizing individual beauty and martial souls to exposing secrets, ranking combat power, revealing cultivation opportunities, and publicly judging figures from both the present and the past. Its disclosures undermined the Asura God King's plans and led the Sea God to remove Tang San from consideration as his inheritor. 111
