Background / History

At six years old, Ning Rongrong intervened when Chen Xin faced Qian Daoliu. Although she possessed only one soul ring, she placed herself in front of the injured Sword Douluo and used the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda to support him, declaring that she would help Sword Grandpa defeat the enemy. Qian Daoliu did not attack her. 106

As the sect master’s daughter, she grew up protected by Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong. Despite her privileged upbringing and powerful support martial soul, she wanted to prove herself outside the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and originally intended to attend Shrek Academy. 11 18

Instead, she encountered Lu Xia shortly after leaving the sect. Drawn to his appearance and strength, she followed him; Chen Xin initially mistook Lu Xia for an abductor and challenged him. Lu Xia’s enormous Fireball Technique shocked both Rongrong and Chen Xin, after which Chen Xin accepted her joining Qingyun Academy. 2
