Takenaka Kaguya defied the World Government over Roger’s family and Ohara, broke with the Marines, and founded Akatsuki to oppose the Celestial Dragons. After raiding Mary Geoise and freeing its slaves, he welcomed Whitebeard, who offered to reveal Laugh Tale’s secrets in exchange for a condition.

• Takenaka Kaguya defeated Kozuki Oden and the Roger Pirates, but Kozuki Toki used her Time-Time Fruit to transport them away before they could be killed.
• After Roger’s execution, Takenaka Kaguya protected Portgas D. Rouge and her newborn son Ace from the World Government’s purge, then discovered the plan to destroy Ohara with a Buster Call.
• Takenaka Kaguya tried to protect Ohara’s civilians during the Buster Call, but the Five Elders and Sengoku turned against him, so he killed members of God's Knights, spared several Marines, and abandoned the Marines.
• Takenaka Kaguya joined Shiki the Golden Lion and his former subordinates to form Akatsuki, an organization dedicated to overthrowing the World Government.
• Takenaka Kaguya freed Fisher Tiger and other slaves at Mary Geoise, fought the Five Elders, and withdrew after Imu refused to face him.
• Takenaka Kaguya brought the rescued slaves into Akatsuki’s care, welcomed Gild Tesoro, and arranged their return home while the raid unsettled Whitebeard, Charlotte Linlin, and Kaido.
• Whitebeard and Marco visited Takenaka Kaguya, and Whitebeard offered to share what Roger had told him about Laugh Tale if Kaguya accepted a condition.

Takenaka Kaguya gathered allies and trained new disciples while preparing to challenge the World Government, then attacked Mary Geoise during the Summit War. He secured Ace’s release and held off the Marines as Whitebeard’s forces retreated, just as Blackbeard arrived.

• Takenaka Kaguya recruited Enel and revived Kuina, then trained his disciples as they faced Shanks, Mihawk, and their crew.
• Takenaka Kaguya fought Dragon, defeated him, and reassured Zephyr that he had no plans to harm Luffy.
• As the Summit War approached, Shiki agreed to help Whitebeard rescue Ace, while Takenaka Kaguya waited with Bullet and Issho for the battle to begin.
• Shiki, Enel, Kuina, and Tanaka joined the fighting at Marineford, while Takenaka Kaguya confronted Imu at Mary Geoise.
• Takenaka Kaguya forced Imu to agree to keep the Celestial Dragons from descending for ten years, then returned to Marineford as the God's Knights withdrew.
• Takenaka Kaguya knocked Luffy unconscious, challenged Garp and Sengoku, and condemned the Marines’ service to the World Government.

Takenaka Kaguya returned to the Naruto World, reunited with his family, and backed his children’s campaign to unify the Shinobi World. As the revived shinobi rallied against him, he attacked Konohagakure and fought its defenders, but Itachi’s Izanagi reversed the battle’s latest turn.

• Takenaka Kaguya left Wano, returned to the Naruto World, and met Naruto and Hinata before visiting Mito Uzumaki’s grave and clashing with Hagoromo Otsutsuki.
• Takenaka Kaguya reunited with Kagura Uzumaki and his children, gave them Devil Fruits and Pure Gold Rings, and learned that Iwagakure and Kumogakure threatened Uzushiogakure.
• Mingyue Takenaka, Changge Takenaka, and Muge Takenaka began their campaign by defeating Ōnoki and bringing Iwagakure into the unified Empire.
• As Uzushiogakure prepared for war against Kumogakure, Hagoromo Otsutsuki revived powerful shinobi across the villages, and Takenaka Kaguya sent avatars to confront them before flying to Konohagakure.
• Takenaka Kaguya rejected peace and demanded that Konohagakure merge into Uzushiogakure, then killed Hatake Sakumo and wounded Namikaze Minato as the battle began.
• Takenaka Kaguya overwhelmed Konoha’s defenders, froze Hashirama Senju, Madara Uchiha, and the others, and took Shisui Uchiha’s Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Uchiha Itachi used Izanagi to reverse the outcome, reviving the frozen fighters and making Shisui Uchiha’s stolen eyes disappear.
