Lucy looked up in astonishment; she could hardly believe that a Tier 2 Wizard could survive her great-grandfather's Prayer Art: Penalty Thunder.

At this moment, Luke's head resembled a piece of melting syrup.

Except for a pair of eyes that could barely be identified as human, the rest of his head had been scorched by lightning, his face charred black, with some unknown substance melting and rolling down his cheeks.

Luke's head was a gruesome sight, yet he still pressed his deformed mouth back onto his throat.

"The Speaker's Penalty Thunder is indeed formidable. If I hadn't studied the specialty Witchcraft of every Star Gate member several times over, I might have truly been killed by you just now."

Lucy realized then that this Luke was worthy of being the candidate put forward by the Star Gate Speaker to compete against the Radiance Family and Thor; at the very least, his strength was not to be underestimated.

She also knew that her angry outburst had already violated her own stance. If she didn't want to tell Luke the answer, she could have simply driven him away or left herself. But as Lucy realized that Luke had not died from the Penalty Thunder, the anger in her heart only grew.

The urge to kill Luke was now even stronger!
