The Value of Thor

"Was there anywhere nearby that kept seawater?" Thor took a few tissue samples from Krum's corpse, intending to run some more tests when he got back.

"The sea lies beneath Sky City."

"That's a little too far."

"We don't usually store seawater, but you can look for some yourself." Ophelia had no intention of helping. "Just don't reveal that Krum is dead or that the biography is missing."

"Got it!" Thor made an OK sign, not caring whether Ophelia understood it.

"Could I see the biography about the Water God?" Thor explained. "I'd like to see what the second half might look like."

Blue-Skirt Ophelia raised her hand, and a bubble appeared in her palm.

Inside the bubble was a stone tablet. It was gray and battered around the edges. Some tiny cracks seemed to contain dark green plants.

He couldn't tell whether they were moss or algae.

The tablet was covered in densely carved little characters.

Their structure was fairly simple, somewhat similar to the Highland Wizard language.

The bubble showed only an image of the biography. Thor couldn't sense any powerful or mysterious aura from it.

"Is this what the second half of the biography looks like?"

"No. This is the first half. The second half's condition is unknown. Krum was searched every time he entered or left White Glaze Castle, so there's no way he could have taken it out intact."

"Could it be hidden in some corner of White Glaze Castle?" Thor guessed.

Ophelia gave him a distant look. "What do you think?"

Right. He still couldn't underestimate a Tier 4 Wizard's abilities. If Ophelia had to expend so much effort searching, then the other half had to be very well hidden.
