Seeing how terrified the Water God looked, Thor felt both satisfied and wary.
His current appearance was the same as that of the intelligent beings in the Phantom Color World. They had once claimed that they were Tiers 1 through 6.
But Thor still had only a vague understanding of Tier 5, so he had no idea what it meant for an intelligent being from the Phantom Color World to be able to switch freely between Tier 1 and Tier 6.
Still, now that he had achieved his goal, Thor immediately changed from his tangled Fate Line state back to his original human form.
The Water God, who had been bristling the whole time, finally managed to calm down when he saw Thor return to his original appearance. He crouched down again, though his paws still tapped the ground restlessly.

Watching the other man stumble over his words, Thor already had an idea what he meant.
"Did ancient wizards call those intelligent beings from the Phantom Color World Death Herald Demons? That name doesn't sound very popular."
Thor was puzzled. When those Fate Lines communicated with him, they had seemed... pretty friendly.
