On his way back from the Grand Lecture Hall, Thor entered the Inner City of Sky City, where only Official Wizards were allowed to live, and turned into a quiet little alley.
The walls on either side of the alley were covered with pink and white Whisper Flowers. They bloomed and withered every day, from top to bottom, as if showing off their proof of vitality.
Thor no longer lived at an inn. As a Tier 1 Wizard, he had rented one of the uniform two-story houses here and personally set up basic Witchcraft Arrays throughout it.
By now, he was fairly certain that Sky City had been quietly sealed off.
Some people were still allowed to leave, but only after careful screening. Anyone who wasn't permitted to go could not take even a single message out with them.
Thor hadn't personally tested whether he could leave Sky City.
He had important things to do, and didn't actually want to leave Sky City.
Besides, this was also a line he couldn't cross.
If he personally tested whether he could leave and was refused, the fragile balance of interests between him and Ophelia could easily be broken.
Even if the other party still helped him connect to the Phantom Color World because of the influence of Causality Theory, there was no telling what their relationship would become afterward.
