"Miduo?" Luo Ye had considered all sorts of names, like Shadow of the Inverted and Core of the Black Sea, but Thor had come up with a girl's name instead.
"Yes. The name came from Alexandra's younger sister." Thor brought up Alexandra directly.
Luo Ye looked at Sand. His first reaction was scorn, but after thinking about the new Black Sea Tree named "Miduo," he immediately asked Thor, "Do you mean that giving the Black Sea Tree a consciousness to actively control the Red Sea Trees involves putting a person's soul inside it?"
Luo Ye was as quick to catch on as ever.
Thor nodded.
But although Luo Ye had guessed correctly, he still felt that something was off.
"Even Wizards can't stay in a nonhuman body for long, let alone a Demonic Creature that's practically a plant. Are you sure this Miduo won't quickly undergo Alienation?"
Thor explained, "Miduo died unexpectedly when she was only a few years old, and her soul was imprisoned beneath the seabed at Blue Water Bay. Even in those circumstances, she retained her Origin and didn't become confused. That's enough to prove her soul is unusual."
Miduo's soul was somewhat like Kate's.
And in terms of talent, Miduo was even more gifted than Kate, a Tier 2 Wizard.
She had survived purely on instinct, without knowing anything about Wizardry.
If she'd had the chance to become a Wizard...
Never mind. There was no point thinking about what might have been.
Luo Ye considered the matter too, and immediately raised the next key question.
"Even if Miduo's soul won't undergo Alienation inside the new Black Sea Tree, can a Demonic Creature with its own consciousness still absorb Black Tide Pollution as it did before?"
