Even if they lured Gorsa to the Kema Principality, did Ula really intend to kill him?
Kira knew Gorsa's background too. Some people were so willful because they truly had the means to be.
Kira knew nothing about the Black Tide or the Eye of the Abyss. In her eyes, Gorsa was already the favored son of heaven: born into a family of Tier 4 Wizards and doted on by everyone, he had lived a carefree life.
"You—you were always trying to escape Gorsa before you were resurrected, weren't you? Isn't this better? If you want power over the Kema Principality, as long as you're willing to be a capable leader, I could hand it over to you."
Ula waved a hand as if she weren't interested. "You don't understand."
Kira didn't want the Kema Principality to face retaliation from the Radiance Family, and still tried to persuade her. "Ula, if you want to kill Gorsa, putting aside whether you can succeed, you and I will definitely be targeted by the Radiance Family afterward. They have a Tier 4 Wizard who can make you wish you were dead."
Ula glanced at Kira. "You know nothing. You have no right to speak."
She raised a hand and sealed Kira's mouth, making her upper and lower lips grow together.
"Radiance doesn't have the time to keep an eye on Gorsa anymore. This is my only chance. As for Gorsa, I won't kill him. I'll turn him into my pet, and then, forever and ever, he'll live at my mercy. Doesn't that sound nice?"
