Thor was eventually taken away by the two Tier 3 Wizards, one tall and one short.
They brought Byron along as well.
After Thor agreed to this nonnegotiable demand, the two Wizards became much more agreeable.
They immediately brought out a carriage more luxurious than the one Thor had been riding in. Even the Pegasus pulling it was the highest standard the Judgment Court used to receive guests.
But as Thor sat inside the carriage and looked at the two Tier 3 Wizards guarding it from outside, he knew it was nothing more than a cage they had provided.
Since Thor and Byron had emerged from another exit in the Land of No Owner, they didn't pass through Dwarf Valley again on their way to the Ultra-Long Distance Teleportation Array in Nephrite. The route was longer, but it took about the same amount of time.
Three days later, the Pegasus carriage carrying Thor arrived on the Nephrite Continent.
He and Byron stepped out of the carriage. There was no one outside.
It seemed they had already fallen out, since this time there was no insincere welcoming ceremony with any nobles.
As soon as Thor and Byron got out, they were taken to a small castle on a cliff by the sea.
Green vines covered the castle walls. If it weren't by the Red Sea, it might have attracted quite a few seabirds.
Unfortunately, there were no animals here, nor any people. Even the lush foliage outside seemed as if it had been painted on by hand. There was no trace of life, only a rigid, lifeless stillness.
After escorting Thor and Byron into the castle, the two Wizards, one tall and one short, remained at the entrance instead of following them inside.
Thor and Byron walked down the unlit corridor.
