"How did I end up here?" Thor asked blankly. He looked down and saw that he was, as expected, still a little ball of thread.
"Fate brought you here, of course." The Death Herald Demon's voice drifted over, unhurried.

Thor went to the platform where the Death Herald Demon had helped him organize things before and found that a new Fate Line had indeed appeared on his Phantom Color Channel.
But the new Fate Line was unusually thick. Other people had cotton thread for sewing; this one was a hawser for towing ships.
At the same time, no clear consciousness came from the thick line. When Thor tried to connect to it, all he could hear were faint, jumbled whispers.
It was like a teacher lecturing in class while a thousand students below whispered to one another.
Thor also discovered that because he had previously shared too much Fate Power with the other three, the four targets now seemed to have formed links with one another in pairs. Through his current magical structure, he could actually choose to advance to Tier 4!
For a moment, Thor's spirit body grew so excited that it felt warm.
But he soon calmed down. "Although I can choose to advance directly to Tier 4 Wizard now, it would be more stable to wait until I've reached the fifth target, as planned."
Thor drew in his threadlike body. "What I want is the power to keep fighting against death and the apocalypse, not to advance into an ordinary Tier 4 Wizard."
He released the Fate Lines of the four targets and gradually calmed down.
