"I hope you don't disappoint me, Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi!" Looking at the Divine Artifact: Heavenly Cloud in his storage, Sasuke silently activated the fusion.
A sharp pain surged through Sasuke's left hand, then spread up his entire arm. Once it passed, waves of heat followed, and a Tomoe Seal appeared on his left forearm!
The fusion was complete. It had cost Sasuke another special fusion opportunity, which meant he could only wait until his Chakra reached Kage Level before fusing with Storm Release.
After all, the one remaining special fusion opportunity had to be saved for evolving the Mangekyō Sharingan into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Once the fusion was over, Sasuke glanced over his panel and suddenly noticed that Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi had appeared on the fusion panel!

Looking at the description on the fusion panel, Sasuke was stunned. You could do that? Was this some kind of bundle deal?
"Then let's fuse it with the Wind-Flame Sword!"
Though he was surprised by this turn of events, Sasuke didn't let it bother him. Why worry about it? Whatever the heavens arranged was best!
After selecting Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi and the Wind-Flame Sword, Sasuke waited for the fusion to finish.

Without thinking too much about it, Sasuke closed the panel and tried out his newly acquired Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi technique. As he spent Chakra, a long, fiery-red sword slowly appeared in his left hand!
Holding it, Sasuke gave it a light swing. A searing sword slash shot out, and the stone wall in front of him split apart in an instant.
"Wind-Flame Sword?" Sasuke stared at the devastating power, his expression puzzled. Had the Wind-Flame Sword become an ordinary attack?
"No, I can only unleash the Wind-Flame Sword once. The rest are just sword slashes infused with Scorch Release. I see!"
After swinging the sword several more times, Sasuke finally understood what Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi could do. Delighted, he put it away and reopened the fusion panel.
His gaze fell on Uchiha Kenjutsu and Konoha Kenjutsu, both of which he had maxed out long ago. Sasuke had an idea. What would happen if he fused those two sword styles into the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi he'd just acquired?
As Sasuke considered this, he suddenly noticed that the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi he'd just used for his experiment had appeared on the fusion panel. He was a little confused.
After selecting Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, Sasuke saw that Uchiha Kenjutsu and Konoha Kenjutsu were the only remaining options. He fused all three, then stared thoughtfully at the result that appeared before him.

So Uchiha Kenjutsu and Konoha Kenjutsu had both been converted into skill points for Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi!

If he didn't go, the Hokage would think Sasuke considered the Uchiha Clan a thing of the past and saw no reason to keep dwelling on it.
That was exactly what Sasuke wanted Sarutobi Hiruzen to think. That kind of assumption would be extremely useful for his future plans!
For instance, when hunting Anbu and Root, as long as he was seen as a successor to the Will of Fire—and was still so young—Sarutobi Hiruzen would never suspect him.
As for Danzo, the king of scapegoats, as long as Sarutobi Hiruzen still wanted Uchiha land, he'd never let Danzo cause Sasuke trouble.
