The Sealing Scroll

As Naruto grumbled, a three-tomoe seal slowly appeared beneath his collar. That was the reason Sasuke had done what he did earlier. After all, Naruto was going to get something good tonight!

The Sealing Scroll was a scroll containing many forbidden techniques and the true foundation of the Hidden Leaf Village. Most of the techniques recorded in it had been created by the Second Hokage.

Sasuke wasn't greedy. For tonight, getting Impure World Reincarnation and the Yin Seal would be enough. After all, those were the only two techniques that would help him.

The former was for tormenting Danzo, the King of Taking the Blame, and Sarutobi Hiruzen. The latter was for storing Senjutsu Chakra.

After all, Senjutsu would probably be essential later on. If he combined it with the Yin Seal, he might get an unexpected result. Of course, if he could get the Strength of a Hundred Technique directly, Sasuke wouldn't object. He didn't have a broad forehead, but he could use it to combine with other techniques!

With that in mind, Sasuke walked into the classroom where the graduation exam was held.

There were two examiners in the classroom. One was Iruka, and the other was tonight's main character: Mizuki!

"Transformation Technique and Clone Technique!"

When Sasuke entered, Iruka picked up the Forehead Protector in front of him. This was far too easy for Sasuke.

Even so, they still had to go through the motions. The Third Hokage was constantly watching everything that happened here through a crystal ball, after all.

At Iruka's words, Sasuke created two Shadow Clones, then had one of them transform into Iruka.

"Perfect score!"

Mizuki, who was in charge of grading, watched Sasuke's transformation and gave an exasperated shrug before writing something on his form.

"Congratulations, Uchiha Sasuke. Starting today, you're officially a graduate of the Ninja Academy..."

Once the grading was complete, Iruka handed Sasuke a Leaf Forehead Protector and offered him a few words of encouragement. He knew Sasuke might be stronger than him, but he still had to say the usual things.

"Thank you!"

After receiving the Forehead Protector, Sasuke turned and left the classroom. It was time to carry out his plan.

After leaving the exam room, Sasuke picked up the Forehead Protector in his hand and waved it at Naruto, then headed straight home.

"Idiot!" Naruto grumbled to himself at Sasuke's showboating, then waited. He was the last one, so he had to take the exam last. There was nothing he could do; those were the rules.

Time passed, and more and more students received their Forehead Protectors and left with their parents.

At last, it was Naruto's turn. He entered the exam room and gave Iruka an awkward smile.

The result was predictable: Naruto failed the Clone Technique.

After comforting Naruto, Iruka sighed. So Naruto still couldn't graduate?

The exam was over, and the Ninja Academy had closed. Naruto sat alone on the swing outside the school, his feelings in turmoil.

"Hey, do you really want to become a ninja?" Just then, Mizuki approached and began to manipulate Naruto, his face full of malice.

In the Hokage's office, Sarutobi Hiruzen watched Mizuki approach Naruto and smiled sinisterly.

"If I didn't need to get every last bit of use out of this pawn, do you think you'd still be alive, Mizuki? Everything is going according to my plan!"

After studying the crystal ball carefully, Sarutobi Hiruzen had the Anbu guarding the Sealing Scroll transferred away.

That night, Naruto, who was determined to graduate from the Ninja Academy, followed Mizuki's instructions and "sneaked" into the Hokage Building, stealing the Sealing Scroll.

With the Sealing Scroll in hand, Naruto ran toward the forest behind the village...

Watching Naruto's every move through the crystal ball, Sarutobi Hiruzen saw him get the Sealing Scroll just as expected and turned off the image. The boy would need time to learn a technique, after all.

"Notify the Anbu. Begin pursuing Uzumaki Naruto in half an hour!" After putting away the crystal ball, Sarutobi Hiruzen gave the order to the empty air.

"Two pawns are about to fall into place. Time to enjoy myself!" While Naruto studied his techniques, Sarutobi Hiruzen switched the crystal ball's image to the women's bathhouse.

In the forest behind the village, Sasuke had been waiting ever since he left the Ninja Academy. This was where Naruto had beaten Mizuki in the original story, after all.

Sasuke transformed into a branch and waited quietly for Naruto to arrive. Before long, Naruto ran past him at full speed, the Sealing Scroll on his back.

After spotting Naruto, Sasuke didn't reveal himself right away. He had to make sure no one was following or watching Naruto.

Five minutes later, after confirming that he could still open his status panel, Sasuke's lips curled into a slight smile. The next instant, he appeared behind Naruto and knocked him unconscious with a single strike. Then he took the Sealing Scroll and began copying the techniques he wanted.

After copying the three techniques, Sasuke glanced at Naruto, who was still unconscious, and smiled calmly. He erased the Flying Thunder God Mark he had left on Naruto, then flashed into a cave.

There was someone in the cave: Mizuki. After manipulating Naruto, Mizuki had come straight to the forest behind the village, where he had run right into Sasuke. Sasuke had no choice but to put him under a Genjutsu!

Sasuke kicked Mizuki awake. His eyes slowly changed into three tomoe. The new plan was about to begin!

"Forget everything about me today. If you're captured, bite your tongue and kill yourself!"

The unfortunate Mizuki had only just opened his eyes when he met Sasuke's Illusion. It was a truly tragic story.

After placing Mizuki under the Genjutsu, Sasuke erased the Flying Thunder God Mark on him and used Shenlian on him. Once he had done all that, he used Flying Thunder God to return to his room.

Mizuki, brainwashed by the Genjutsu, shook his head and headed straight for Naruto's location.

Back in his room, Sasuke burned the kunai on his desk, the one engraved with a tomoe, with Scorch Release. Then he slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep. It was better to wait until things had died down before studying those three techniques.

Deep in the woods that night, Iruka was injured while saving Naruto. Enraged, Naruto learned Multiple Shadow Clone Technique and beat Mizuki senseless. Mizuki was arrested and bit his tongue to kill himself. After his death, his body mysteriously disappeared.

In the end, the Anbu found Naruto supporting the badly injured Iruka.

The Ninja Academy exam was easy, and now I've got the Sealing Scroll!
