"This eye was a gift from a former teammate of mine. Come to think of it, he was somewhat similar to Naruto!"

Touching the Sharingan in his left eye, Kakashi couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia. If it weren't for Obito, he probably wouldn't possess such a reputation today.

"Is that so?"

Watching Kakashi lost in his memories, Sasuke began to ponder slowly. If Kakashi knew that Obito was still alive, would it be beneficial to his own plans? Could he perhaps borrow Obito's identity to reclaim Kakashi's Sharingan?

"Alright, let's go!"

Interrupted by Sasuke, Kakashi grabbed the scroll and hurried toward the location where Naruto and the others were waiting, as the mission was finally over.

A long while later, when Kakashi arrived with Sasuke, he saw Naruto and Morino Idate sitting together, chatting and laughing, while Sakura looked at the two of them with a speechless expression.

"Sasuke, you're back..." Seeing them return, Sakura ran over to fuss over Sasuke, which left Kakashi feeling rather speechless. I am your teacher, after all; couldn't you show some concern for me too?

"Morino Idate, let's go! Your brother is still waiting for you!"

Walking up to Naruto, Kakashi looked calmly at Morino Idate, who seemed a bit dejected by his arrival. Although he felt a bit cruel, this was the requirement of the mission. As for what kind of punishment this person would face, Kakashi didn't know; he was simply carrying out his orders.

"Okay..."

To Kakashi's surprise, after hearing his words, Morino Idate fell silent for a moment before actually agreeing. Kakashi was somewhat taken aback by this.

"Hey, Sakura, it's time to head out!" Seeing that Morino Idate had agreed to return to Konoha, Kakashi turned his head to look at Sakura, who was still pestering Sasuke about what had happened. He curled his lips helplessly. Are girls these days really this unrestrained?

Hearing Kakashi's words, Sakura finally gave up on her attempt to keep questioning Sasuke.

"...That is roughly how things went. Aoi Rokushō disappeared with the Sword of the Thunder God, but we have retrieved the scroll!" Kakashi handled the entire mission report, while Sasuke and the others could only wait in silence.

"It is good that the scroll was retrieved. The mission is over now; you should all take a few days to rest!"

After listening to Kakashi's account, Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded at them with a smile. The Sword of the Thunder God was merely a special ninja tool, and since Aoi Rokushō had managed to offend two ninja villages at once, he would likely spend the rest of his days living in hiding.

"Then we shall take our leave!"

Hearing Sarutobi Hiruzen's words, Kakashi led Team 7 away, leaving only the Morino brothers in the Hokage's office. The remaining matters had nothing to do with Team 7.

"First, congratulations on completing your first B-rank mission. Now, you may relax for three days!"

After putting some distance between them and the Hokage's office, Kakashi announced this to the three of them.

"Oh yeah!"

Hearing about the time off, Naruto jumped up in excitement. After all, this was his first break in half a month!

"Although rest is a good thing, I must remind you not to slack off. A ninja's missions are dangerous. You must seize the time to improve your strength; otherwise, you might not have such luck next time!"

Listening to Naruto's cheers, Kakashi curled his lips helplessly and gave another reminder. After all, the strength of these three was on completely different levels. Kakashi still hoped that Naruto and Sakura would study and train hard; he didn't expect them to catch up to Sasuke, but at the very least, they should close the gap a little.

"Got it..."

At Kakashi's nagging, Naruto replied in a dejected tone. Sakura slowly lowered her head, while Sasuke remained completely unresponsive.

"Very well, I declare Team 7 dismissed. The assembly time is in three days!"

Looking at the three students with their varying expressions, Kakashi announced the dismissal of the team.

After the dismissal, Sasuke headed straight home. He wanted to check his spoils; after all, the Land of Waves arc should be next, and he needed to accelerate the progress of certain things.

After Sasuke left, Sakura sighed helplessly and headed home as well. Soon, only the still-dejected Naruto remained in place, while Kakashi had long since vanished.

Back home, the first thing Sasuke did was open his storage interface. He used the eight Chunin Crystals immediately, and 8,000 Universal Proficiency points were instantly credited to his account.

After using the Chunin Crystals, Sasuke turned his attention to the item he cared about most this time: the Sword of the Thunder God.

Furthermore, spirit weapons were all related to the Sage of Six Paths or Kaguya Otsutsuki.

"Although I'm a bit disappointed, the fact that it can be fused is nice!" Looking at the golden hilt in his storage, the corners of Sasuke's mouth curled up slightly. While this particular gain wasn't entirely satisfying, his other gains were quite substantial!

One had to realize that even Team 3, which had graduated successfully last year, hadn't even touched a B-rank mission yet!

For a time, Team 7 became the most dazzling stars among the new Konoha graduates. Suddenly, Team 7 became the "good kids" in the eyes of everyone's parents!

Ino had the most to say about this, as she and Sakura had grown up playing together.
