After the green energy entered Kakashi's left eye, Sasuke was astonished to discover that Kakashi's body, which had still been rejecting the transplant a moment ago, was slowly beginning to accept the transplanted eye.
Then wisps of white mist rose from Kakashi's left eye, and Sasuke was shocked to find that the newly transplanted eye had perfectly fused with Kakashi's body, as if it had always been Kakashi's own eye.
"I think I can see!"
While Sasuke was still stunned, Kakashi, having noticed the changes in his body, suddenly spoke and tried to open his eye.
The next second, Sasuke's face appeared in Kakashi's vision...
"That's incredible, Sasuke!"
After briefly adjusting to his left eye, Kakashi praised Sasuke, then walked outside.
"There are strange things every year, but especially many this year!" Thinking back on the strange nature of the Divine Refining Eye, Sasuke helplessly curled his lip. It looked like another good thing that had failed to fully develop had gone to waste!
Sasuke had originally wanted to practice his technique while replacing Kakashi's eye, but he could only shrug helplessly. He then went outside, picked a large tree at random, climbed up it, and prepared to begin a large-scale fusion.
Opening the fusion panel, the first thing Sasuke did was absorb the Ice Release crystal he had obtained from Haku through fusion. After all, it was the first time Sasuke had ever seen such a thing, and he had no idea what effects it would have.
As the fusion began, Sasuke felt waves of coldness enter his body before vanishing without a trace. He did not know what to say. It had ended before it even began?
