Mu Qing frowned.
That Sand Scorpion King actually possessed the strength of the fifth level of the Supreme Realm. That was completely beyond what Mu Qing could withstand.
"Ordinary desert scorpions are like sand crocodiles, scattered throughout the Sandsoil Desert. But Sand Island is different. Its leader, the Sand Scorpion King, is a rare demonic beast that possesses intelligence. That is why it led a group of desert scorpions to occupy that island. It is also one of the few places in the Nether Emperor Demon Realm that does not move around as a clan."
Crimson Demon explained, his expression slightly grave.
"We should take a detour. Provoking the Sand Scorpion King would be very troublesome." Crimson Demon offered his suggestion.
Mu Qing nodded. Even in the outside world, he might not necessarily be a match for someone at the fifth level of the Supreme Realm, much less here in the Nether Emperor Demon Realm.
Crimson Demon was extremely familiar with this place. They were actually still quite far from Sand Island; looking from afar with the naked eye, they could only make out its vague outline.
Crack!
Just then!
The sand beside Crimson Demon loosened, and a pitch-black pincer savagely snipped toward him. A terrifying Demon Aura spilled out, almost cutting Crimson Demon in two!
Mu Qing's pupils constricted. Even he had failed to notice this sudden attack.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a massive desert scorpion burrowing out from underground. Judging from the Demon Aura it emitted, it possessed at least the strength of the second level of the Supreme Realm!

Crimson Demon's body was severed by the desert scorpion's pincer, and a great spray of blood burst forth.
But Mu Qing quickly noticed something was wrong.
