Smallville, Kansas.

A brand-new four-seater minivan, a warm yellow color, gleamed with a warm glow in the sunlight. The open cargo bed at the back of the yellow minivan was loaded with a large amount of baby supplies.

Baby bottles, sippy cups, small bowls, small keys, thermometers and hygrometers, bathtubs, thermometers, fever-reducing patches, mosquito repellent patches, nasal aspirators, shampoos and body washes, diaper rash creams, baby powder, safety sockets, safety door cards, safety table leg protectors, strollers, diapers, wet wipes, all kinds of formula, baby walkers, cloth diapers, diaper pads... and so on. And this is not even a complete list.

Raising a baby is a complicated but necessary task for a family. It is a reproductive gene inherited from human nature, and it has been like this since ancient times. Generation after generation has reproduced, which is why we exist today.

The yellow minivan swayed along the bumpy farm road, its movement carrying the warmth of the few people inside.

The driver was a typical United States, not particularly large, but his robust physique suggested years of hard work. He had dark skin and a gentle, kind look in his eyes, like a farmer, and was a good-natured man who rarely lost his temper.

However, he was in his forties, in the prime of his life, but due to genetic reasons, he had no children, which was a regret for him and his wife.

Fortunately, they were treated kindly by heaven.

One day on the farm, an alien spaceship landed in their field.

It almost completely baffled the farm worker.

Among them, a baby was waving its hands and babbling, as if it wanted to be held.

His wife couldn't help but pick up the baby. The baby was a little heavier than usual, but fortunately, she was quite strong from her usual farm work. She held the alien baby and smiled, radiating a motherly glow.

This was a tenderness her husband had never seen before, just like when his mother held him as a baby with the same tenderness!

He felt as if a void in his life had been filled.

In the present moment.

He made a decision in his heart to take in the baby, and from that moment on, the baby was his son.

He has also become a father, and will stand by and protect his child and wife.

That night, he hurriedly pulled the spaceship close to the basement and hid it there with great effort. He then covered the crater of the spaceship with soil, destroyed the impact marks nearby, and cut down the corn stalks that were about to ripen and covered them up. This project took several days to completely cover the nearby cornfield with messy corn stalks and cover up all traces.

Even now, he still hasn't let go of his worries.

It was very difficult; he and his wife only had one child, and he didn't want it to be taken away by anyone or any official.

He wants to protect his children and his wife.

A family.

This is a father, a dad.

However, there is always a sense of despair in everything that is beyond human control.

Like cancer at its deepest point, a life beyond saving, a tragic lament of utter helplessness.

He had no idea that he was facing aliens who were beyond human capabilities, powerful, brutal, and ruthless. He might even be someone who was sacrificed without anyone noticing.

However, he has not yet experienced it, nor has it come to him.

Jonathan Kent frowned, looking through the windshield of his minivan at the bumpy, potholed road ahead, and grew impatient.

He hadn't noticed much inconvenience in the old, swaying truck before, but now that he had a child, he felt the road was incredibly bumpy and frustrating.

If your child falls on the road or accidentally slips into a puddle after rain, it will be troublesome.

He made a decision! He would fill in this road.

Inside the vehicle, in the back seat was Clark's foster mother, Martha, and a white dog who would never leave Clark, whose name was Krypto, which is the English pronunciation of Krypton.

So, you can call it Little Kryptonian, Krypton, Krypto, it's all fine.

Martha frowned, her body jerking up and down in her seat every now and then; this road was just too uneven.

Why did I never realize it before?

Why is this road so steep?

They had walked this road thousands of times, but this time, for some reason, it was the steepest part, and it was frustrating.

"I'll fill it in tomorrow."

"Farm owner Jonathan Kent said firmly, without question, it must be filled in, and we'll start filling in tomorrow."

Martha nodded in agreement, quite pleased with her husband's domineering manner, and then looked at the swaddled baby.

She carefully held Clark, maintaining her balance to avoid waking him up abruptly, but found that the child was already awake, giggling and laughing, as if being jolted awake by the sudden movement.

She was worried that little Clark would cry when he woke up, but now she saw that the child was overjoyed, with his beautiful, bright blue eyes.

Martha's worries vanished instantly, and she smiled as she looked at Clark. She touched Clark's head, gently kissed Clark, and then rocked little Clark while humming "My Home on the Range," a song often associated with Kansas.

Little Clark's clear, big eyes focused and happy as she babbled along with Martha's voice. Jonathan Kent, who was driving, heard his wife and little Clark's voices, and his mood, which had been agitated, suddenly changed. A smile appeared on his lips. As the car bounced along, the whole cabin was filled with the warm and cozy atmosphere of "the Home on the Range".

The journey wasn't long, and we arrived at the door of the wooden house.

Jonathan Kent quickly unbuckled his seatbelt, opened the car door, and opened it for his wife in the back seat.

Martha, holding little Clark, looked up at the scorching sun in the Spurs, squinted her eyes, and said, "I'll carry Clark inside and come out to help you move your things."

Jonathan Kent put his arm around her shoulder and pushed her into the house, laughing easily, "No need, I can manage on my own. You can watch over Little Clark, and Little Kryptonian will help me, right?"

Martha smiled, nodded, shielded Clark from the scorching sun with her hand, and carried Clark into the house.

Krypto's dog-like face froze for a moment.

Do you really treat me like a dog?

Even a dog wouldn't carry things!

"Krypto!" Jonathan Kent called out, hanging the diaper bags on either side of his dog, rubbing his head, and laughing, "Put them in the living room. Be careful, these are Clark's diapers, take care of his bottom."

Krypto's face twitched slightly, but upon hearing Clark's name, he still pawed at the door and quickly ran inside.
