By His Own Hand
Why?
Of course, it's for personal gain.
For the glory of the El Family.
Like the symbol on its chest, it represents hope.
The El Family is Krypton's only hope.
He had once gone bankrupt, almost squandering the entire El Family fortune, constantly traveling to the Upper Council and within the Family, doing his utmost to persuade them to face this predicament with him and to provide him with everything he could to research and solve the problem of the Earth's core.
But what is it?
He predicted the impending Destruction of Krypton, but his theory was not accepted by the public.
The Science Council dismissed his speculations, believing him to be misleading the public; some friendly Family were willing to believe him and secretly prepared spaceships; while some hostile Family ridiculed him, accusing him of arrogance and spreading doomsday theories, and he was nearly imprisoned.
During that period, Jor-El, as a prospective member of the Krypton Science Council, faced numerous difficulties and doubts, yet still failed to gain their trust.
This division, coupled with the fact that those in power in various parliaments viewed him as Joker, mocking and doubting him, deeming his theories and speculations utterly unfounded and unacceptable.
During that period, he faced a lot of criticism.
However, he lacked the ruthlessness of General Zod and Ba Di, who wanted to kill all the foolish council members, take control of Krypton, and save Krypton.
Because he is also a beneficiary of these upper classes, and a member of them, it's hard to see that the Kryptonian of Krypton have no expectations or hopes for life.
So when Ba Di raised his flag and started the riot, he angrily denounced Ba Di for his own selfish desires, for waging war and wasting Krypton's lifespan, and denounced him as a sinner of Krypton.
He never considered that secretly stealing the Codex of Life and implanting it into his own son's body was also an act of betrayal against Krypton.
His behavior was even worse.
If it were truly for the sake of Krypton's continuation, it would be better to implant the Codex of Life into Ba Di, or Zod's body, or even into Haier's body, or even into his own body, than into a child's body.
He firmly believed that his son was kind and would be able to maintain the glory of the El Family and continue the splendor of Krypton.
I never imagined that a baby could have any thoughts or Family honor.
Adopted by Earthlings, raised on Earth, and educated in Earthling culture, they still attempt to maintain the glory of the El Family and continue Krypton's splendor.
What kind of bizarre confidence could lead someone to believe that an infant could inherit the glory of the El Family, become a god on Earth, transform the planet, and perpetuate Krypton?
In fact, his son, Superman, did not continue Krypton's glory. Instead, he became the guardian of Earthlings, using the "S" on his chest as his own glory and the glory of the "S" on Earth.
Even in other parallel universes, some Superman become the greatest villains and rule the Earth.
But even then, there was no intention to restore Krypton's glory.
This is undeniably ironic.
The son he placed his hopes on did not follow his wishes in any way.
Jor-El is the greatest sinner of Krypton, the true culprit who destroyed Krypton.
The Codex of Life, whether given to Ba Di, Zod, or even Zod, who loves Krypton more than anyone else, will restore Haier to its Krypton.
No matter how they use it, it will restore Krypton's former glory.
At least, Krypton will still exist.
The bloodline of Krypton will be even greater.
In Jor-El's hands, the energy channeled into Superman's body would only result in a Superman without Superman obsession with Krypton.
Krypton but never revives Superman...
It was Jor-El who truly Destruction Krypton civilization, causing it to disappear into the dustbin of history.
Even the darkness seemed extremely menacing.
And... a quiet struggle.
There was no wind, but a sweltering heat emanated from the group.
Jor-El had no way to refute it. His body lay on the ground, large patches of blood seeping into the brown earth, turning it dark and crimson, and giving off a bloody smell.
His body was mangled, revealing the bare white bones of his spine. His bright red internal organs were writhing and growing flesh. He was panting heavily, coughing up blood through his teeth. His mangled internal organs made it extremely difficult for him to breathe.
His Talons fingers dug deep into the mud, his fists clenched tightly, his one eye twisted with venomous hatred as he glared at Ba Di, his voice a desperate, hysterical roar, "Krypton's hope lies solely in my son's hands!"
"You never even considered saving Krypton!!"
Jor-El coughed up blood, his hideous dog face contorted with rage, his eyes filled with venom, his face twisted and contorted, utterly terrifying.
"Um!!!"
Such a terrifying gaze made Jonathan gasp and take a step back.
This is different from the past.
He had never seen such a docile Little Kryptonian with its snow-white, soft fur, intelligent and cute appearance, yet it harbored such Deep Bottom resentment in its eyes.
Immediately, memories of the past flashed through my mind: dining together at the table, her face so clean, white, and beautiful.
The contrast with now is stark; it's a world of difference.
Now, it has suddenly transformed into Magic Wolf, its grotesque and vicious appearance terrifying.
That look startled him; his face froze instantly, and a chill ran through him, his hands and feet turning icy cold.
Ba Di's cold, dark pupils looked down at him, who was like a dog, and a pity flashed in his cold eyes as he looked at him pitifully.
He's a dog, both in body and soul! His son, on whom Krypton's hopes rest, has no idea how desperately he's worked to save humanity; yet he won't use that same desperate effort to restore Krypton.
"When did I say I was going to save Krypton?"
Ba Di sneered, his tall figure looming over them. His body was covered in clearly defined muscles, and a black mist-like magic seemed to emerge from it from time to time. It was dark and full of immense power, yet he looked down at them with an icy coldness.
He has always wanted to rule Krypton.
Give hope and light to those who believe in themselves and love themselves.
When will I have time to save Krypton?
Jor-El clenched his teeth and gums, and with a 'plop' sound, blood flowed from his mouth, along with fragments of shattered white teeth.
His mouth hissed again, like a fierce wolfhound retaliating in anger, but there were no teeth, only tightly closed gums, flesh, and blood flowing from his mouth.
"You are not worthy to possess the Codex of Life!!"
Jor-El's mouth, stained with blood and bits of teeth, grinned viciously. His venomous eyes flashed with a chilling hope as he roared in Martha's direction.
"Leave here, go somewhere new, and take care of Carl for me!"
Overwhelmed with grief, he roared at Martha, his eyes bursting with tears and blood.
He lay prostrate on the ground, wailing, about to bid farewell to his son.
He was no longer able to protect his son.
This is the final implementation.
Live on!
Carl!
I don't want you to return to Krypton.
As long as you... are alive!
He finished speaking.
Suddenly, the baby in the swaddling clothes emitted a faint light. In the darkness, this light was dazzling, as if the light had descended upon the baby.
Martha looked down at Clark in astonishment.
He was still asleep, yet a blinding light pierced through him.
It pierced the darkness of the surrounding area with light.
This is like... the Child of Light! However.
Ba Di was like a merciless Devil God, unmoved by Jor-El's actions. His massive body was like a demonic mountain, and the demon looked down from above, shattering all his illusions.
"You killed with your own hands the man who loved your son."
