Spaceship
What is freedom?
The most direct feeling of freedom is...
It can fly!
Flying is true freedom. You can soar through the sky, feeling exhilarated and carefree. Every moment you look down at the earth, you feel the strong wind brushing against your skin, your clothes fluttering as you surpass the wind and the air currents, overlooking the earth, lakes, oceans, mountains, and the verdant green at the top of the forest.
This is true freedom.
Flying freely.
If freedom is the ultimate goal, then at which altitude is the freedom greatest and the view the best? The stratosphere, around 50 kilometers above sea level. In this layer, the atmosphere is mainly characterized by advection, which is conducive to high-altitude flight. Airplanes generally fly in this layer, and people are no exception. This is the most comfortable layer, where you can overlook the landscape and feel the natural air currents blowing against your skin.
In addition, the ozone layer in the stratosphere absorbs ultraviolet rays from the sun, protecting life on Earth from harmful solar radiation. This is also the most suitable altitude for Kryptonian to fly at.
The sun shone brightly in the sky, exceptionally hot. The air currents ruffled his strong, black hair, and his white trench coat fluttered behind him. Every moment, the cold wind brushed against Ba Di's face, the touch of which was as comfortable as cool well water in summer.
Unlike Superman, who flies with his fists raised, Ba Di simply places his hands naturally on the outside of his thighs and flies forward easily without going too fast.
Because there is a layer of refracted wavebands distorted by his own body's magnetic field around him, as long as it does not exceed the speed of sound, it is enough to make his figure invisible to the naked eye. Ordinary weather radar will only detect strange distorted cloud layers like thunderstorm clouds, and cannot clearly know that he is a human-shaped outline.
It flew away from several areas that were under special attention.
'Peng'
Suddenly, Ba Di appeared in the air, creating a sonic boom as he accelerated through the stratosphere. His thighs seemed to be covered by a skirt of white clouds, the sonic barrier clouds clinging tightly to his thighs, forming a cloud skirt.
Soon, with his acceleration, he reached his destination.
It is located at the border of Greenland Island and Ellesmere Island.
This area, still part of Canada, lies within the Arctic Circle. It has a frigid climate, high latitude, and extremely low temperatures, and is covered in snow year-round. It boasts icebergs of all shapes and sizes, and occasionally, the most unique, bizarre, and dazzling Aurora Borealis emerges from the glacier's horizon, a truly captivating phenomenon on Earth.
Even before dealing with Trigon, Ba Di had sent people to investigate Qiao Ai Er's Reconnaissance Spaceship, and finally determined its location.
Just then, Poison Ivy appeared, so Ba Di sent Raven to find her while he went to the North Pole, intending to move the spaceship back to Metropolis.
Krypton's Reconnaissance Spaceship are not only capable of reconnaissance, but also have a complete Chamber of Life's Origin that can be programmed with specific genes to create the cyborgs, warriors, researchers, and so on that Ba Di need.
In the future, the entire Earth will need millions of administrators, and these will need to be manufactured here.
On the glacier ground, large, dark green camping tents were firmly nailed in place, and boxes of supplies were piled up, all of which were the latest military sonar detectors, which had been deployed by the Ba Di to help them detect the location of the spaceship.
They did not disappoint Ba Di, searching back and forth near the location provided by Ba Di day and night, and finally, they found the exact location.
The North Pole night sky is breathtakingly clear. The vast, bright sky seems to press down on you from above, which is quite awe-inspiring.
Suddenly, in the camp, a continuous line of searchers dressed in cotton-padded clothes looked up at the sky.
"Look, what's that!"
"Little bird?"
"Airplane?"
"No, it's the boss!"
Captain Bernie Jones, a burly black man with thick lips, saw Ba Di's figure through binoculars. The sight of his cape and appearance shocked him. In the extreme cold, his blood rushed to his head, and his vital energy seemed to boil with shock.
He knew that Ba Di was always powerful, like a god, but to be so powerful that he could fly to the heavens was truly shocking and awe-inspiring. This was a real, living god.
Once he recovered, he quickly called for his men to stand at attention and line up.
They looked up and saw a white figure, trailing a long white sonic boom cloud, above their heads in the clear, unobstructed night sky.
Ba Di hovered in the sky, gradually reducing his own magnetic field reaction, allowing it to undergo a magnetic reaction within his body, ready to unleash unparalleled power at any time.
He descended slowly, the ice and snow on the ice surface swirling around him at his feet, his trench coat flowing down to his heels.
His subordinates, their hearts burning with excitement, bowed low in anticipation of his arrival.
This godlike aura descended from the sky, bringing immense pressure that almost made them kneel down.
Even so, they trembled, their bodies hunched over with excitement, waiting for Ba Di to pass by. Watching Ba Di's white boots step on the icy ground and pass through their sight filled them with excitement.
"Well done!"
Ba Di offered a brief compliment and looked up at the massive glacier.
This sentence seemed to ignite their passion, their eyes burning with fervor, and they couldn't help but shout out in a loud voice, "For Ba Miu Luo Di!"
The cold particles in the air trembled because of this sudden sound.
Ba Di gave a slight smile, then gently raised his hand to stop their shouts and disperse them.
In a glacier, such synchronized sound waves are not a good thing.
"Boss, after several days of reconnaissance, we have confirmed that the sonar response is strong within the ice shelf."
Captain Bernie Jones, with his thick lips, pointed in a direction for Ba Di and enthusiastically explained it to Ba Di.
With piercing eyes, Ba Di activated his Penetrating Sight, penetrating layer by layer through the glacier, until he saw a 300-meter-long Kryptonian Reconnaissance Spaceship deep within.
Upon seeing this familiar Krypton creation again, Ba Di's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Wait for me here!"
After casually issuing the order, Ba Di took off again, carrying an intense pressure that suffocated them, making their hearts pound as they watched Ba Di with a mixture of fear and fervor, as he flew away like a god.
The glaciers here are freezing cold, exceeding -30 degrees Celsius. For Ba Di, at this temperature, his skin only felt as cool as being splashed with icy well water in summer.
He flew to the side, making it easier to reach the Kryptonian Spaceship's hatch.
Immediately, red veins appeared around his eyes, and his Heat Vision rushed towards the thick white glacier, instantly causing mist to rise. The glacier melted down, creating a hole about the size of two people walking side by side, from which mist continued to rise and surge.
The Heat Vision was controlled by Ba Di in terms of temperature and impact force until it was about two meters away from the spaceship. In order to avoid damaging the spaceship, the intensity was gradually reduced until it disappeared.
Ba Di's eyes were slightly warm, a normal reaction to releasing his Heat Vision. After closing them slightly, the vitreous body dissipated heat, and the residual heat was eliminated. He floated straight into the cave entrance.
