A Year

Day 6.

This was the sixth day since Ba Di assumed the identity of Batman.

From that day onward, the dying wish of Batman was already being fulfilled: to transform Gotham, the city of sin, into the City of Light.

With lightning speed, all the criminal forces and gangs in Gotham that could be detected by Ba Di, in cooperation with the Court of Owls and the mercenaries led by Death Knell, have been brought under control.

Wait until tonight.

When Ba Di returned to Gotham, he gave the order to bring all the criminal gangs under his control to trial in accordance with New Jersey law.

Gotham began to descend into chaos on this day.

Similarly, things have begun to change.

Day 7.

The United States. government has declared Batman a superhero stationed in Gotham, with the authority to apprehend criminals, the FBI, and the police.

Batman has now officially become a superhero of Gotham, a status more formal than any other superhero.

This shocked the entire world.

This is the first time a country has recognized superheroes and allowed them to have law enforcement powers.

In the world, these heroes with superpowers, although called superheroes, have never been officially declared as such, and governments have never believed in them, let alone recognized them as heroes.

Sometimes, when these so-called superheroes are down on their luck and are accidentally captured, what awaits them is research and dissection, rather than enjoying the rights of a hero.

The consequences of Gotham's announcement of Batman as a legitimate superhero were a series of superhero legislations. Batman initially drafted League of Legends, bringing together a large number of superheroes to form a unified and interconnected force.

Superheroes cannot be separated from the government, nor can they be above the country and the people. What heroes do is for the people, not to recklessly display their power.

Day 8.

More than 30,000 army soldiers began to be stationed in Gotham, and under Ba Di's command, they assisted in implementing strict control.

In addition, many judges were dispatched from various cities to handle the criminal gangs that had been captured in Gotham.

The whole of Gotham is undergoing a dramatic transformation.

The evil was wiped out in an instant, but what followed was a severe shortage of court staff. Not to mention that the court itself was already extremely corrupt, and the staff who could conduct trials had to be transferred from other cities. The court was busy day and night.

In almost every case, it was Ba Di who ordered the arrests and the search for evidence, which was irrefutable.

The darkness that had accumulated in Gotham exploded in an instant, and with the Court of Owls controlled by Ba Di and the mercenaries, as well as the nearly 30,000 United States soldiers maintaining order, the entire Gotham was transformed.

One month later.

Ba Di successfully developed an environmental regulator that modulates the air and magnetic field, which is located around Gotham.

As night fell, the thick clouds over Gotham began to thin, revealing a clear night sky.

Two months later, Gotham had transformed from a desolate and gloomy city into one that, while carrying a touch of coolness, shone with warmth in the autumn morning sun, casting its light upon the entire city.

At night, you can see a clear night sky with beautiful stars twinkling.

Three months later, Wayne Enterprises began to unite nearly 90% of the companies in Gotham to raise funds to create Cold Fusion New Energy Company.

Gotham has officially begun to transform into a clean energy capital, giving rise to numerous Cold Fusion power generation industries, Cold Fusion powered cars, Cold Fusion powered ocean liners and large ships, Cold Fusion machines, medical, automation, manufacturing, transportation...

The entire city seemed to emerge from the darkness and be bathed in light. The dark figure of Batman broke through the fog of darkness and brought light, reform, and cleansing the city of its evil.

Six months later.

The transformation of the city by new energy means that, under the leadership of Wayne Enterprises, the city has created more than a million jobs. For a time, Gotham was one of the cities with the lowest unemployment rates.

Next, the United States enacted the Super City Act, designating Gotham as a special district and Gotham superhero city for new energy.

This is the first time a superhero has influenced an entire city, transforming a notorious crime capital with the highest crime rate in the United States into the energy city, the city of light, and the city of hope it is today, under Batman's leadership.

This city is no longer in darkness, no longer filled with evil; it still holds hope! And it will never lose hope!

One year later.

Gotham Grand Square.

A red scarf was used to cover a towering statue.

Many journalists from around the world gathered here, their cameras flashing as they illuminated the mayor on the podium.

"Today, on behalf of all the people of Gotham, I sincerely thank Batman, Bruce Wayne!"

"He infiltrated Gotham as Batman for over a decade, becoming an urban legend for over a decade, and changing our lives!"

"Gotham is no longer in dire straits!"

"He transformed our city into a capital of light, hope, and new energy."

"This is just a small gift from us, the Gotham, to commemorate him!"

The mayor bowed and finished speaking.

Then, amidst the flashing lights of numerous reporters, he unveiled a huge red cloth.

Inside, a bronze sculpture of Batman stands tall in the square, gazing into the distance as if seeing the future, where all darkness will recede behind him and be transformed by his hand.

The sunlight slanted down and shone on the gleaming statue.

Huge applause resounded throughout the square.

The sun shines warmly on Wayne Enterprises.

Ba Di stood by the window, gazing out over the entirety of Gotham.

Nightwing, standing behind him, exclaimed excitedly, "Bruce, we succeeded! In just one year, we've changed Gotham!"

His gaze was filled with admiration, respect, reverence, and awe.

He originally thought he had graduated from Bruce's tutelage and could stand on his own as a superhero.

However, what Bruce did made him feel incredibly small.

After lying low for over a decade, uncovering all of Gotham's environmental evils, a year ago, he single-handedly and with overwhelming force transformed this city of sin into the new energy capital, the City of Light.

This is what a superhero should be! Transforming the entire city, turning a city of sin into a city of light.

Nightwing watched Ba Di's retreating figure, his heart filled with unconcealed admiration. In the sunlight, Ba Di's figure seemed as towering as a mountain in his eyes.

"Dick, from this day forward, you are Batman!"
