At least she looked healthier now than she had before. Reassuring himself of this, Kitagawa Ryo sat down across from Karuizawa Kei and picked up his chopsticks.
"Have you made any plans for what you'll do next, Kei? If you want to transfer schools, I can help."
Kitagawa Ryo cut into the heart-shaped egg on his plate and asked casually.
Karuizawa Kei tilted her head playfully, then nodded thoughtfully. The movement was small, but somehow adorable.
"I don't mind transferring. As long as I can finish high school in peace, that's all that matters."
"What about after that? Have you ever thought about going to Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School? I heard it's considered one of the best high schools in Tokyo. Every year, the various conglomerates and the government pour a lot of resources into it. As for getting you a place, I'll find a way. Maybe I'll go there myself."
At Kitagawa Ryo's words, a delighted glimmer flashed in Karuizawa Kei's sapphire-like eyes. She wasn't particularly concerned about further education, and she hadn't looked into Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School. What mattered most to her was his saying that they might study there together.
"Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School claims to have a hundred percent college placement rate. Once you graduate, whether you want to go to the University of Tokyo or study abroad, the school will provide resources and recommendations. If you want to enter the workforce directly, they can arrange a job for you, too."
Kitagawa Ryo continued explaining the school. Even he had found it hard to believe when he first heard its claims.
