Hogg took the letter handed over by the attendant, glanced at it, and said, "It's from the Achisoren Clan—an invitation to the battle between Olivier and the Starry Sky Sword Saint Dilong half a month from now." As he spoke, he handed the invitation to Bolan.
"His strength is nothing special, but he sure knows how to put on a show," Bolan said with a sneer after glancing at the invitation.
"Big Brother, if you fought Olivier now, how confident would you be?" Wharton asked. Hogg and the others also looked at Bolan expectantly. After all, aside from Bolan, Hogg was the strongest among them, yet even after transforming, he could only barely reach Level 9. The gap between Level 9 and the Saint level was far greater than the gap between Level 8 and Level 9.
"At most ten moves. Olivier would lose within ten moves. Right now, he probably can't even break through my dragon scale defense," Bolan said with a faint smile.
Hearing this, Hogg and the others burst into laughter. In their hearts, Dragonblood Warriors were the strongest warriors on the continent. It was a faith.
"Then are we going to watch the battle?" Wharton asked eagerly.
"Of course we're going. Why wouldn't we?" Bolan replied with a faint smile. They had invited them, after all. Refusing to go would be disrespectful.
The Baruch Clan's banquet ended amid the lively atmosphere.
Time flowed like water, and in the blink of an eye, half a month had passed.
By the banks of the Yulan River, people packed the area. Everyone awaited the clash between the genius Sword Saint Olivier and the Starry Sky Sword Saint Dilong. Which of the two would prove stronger? Most people favored Dilong, however. After all, Dilong had been in this realm for nearly a century, while Olivier had only just broken through.
As the crowd discussed heatedly, a man in green robes flew in from the distance, a heavy sword strapped to his back. He was the Starry Sky Sword Saint Dilong. Just as Dilong appeared, a young man with dark brown hair flew in from the opposite direction. He wore white robes and held a dreamlike white longsword in his hand. His bearing was like that of a freshly drawn sharp sword, chilling to the soul.
The Baruch Clan members rode the Silver Dragon and hovered in the air, watching the two men below.
Seeing Olivier dressed like that, Wharton secretly glanced at Bolan beside him, then let out a snort of laughter.
The others looked at him in confusion. Wharton pointed at Olivier in midair, then at his eldest brother Bolan. Following his finger, everyone immediately began laughing as well. Only Hogg remained somewhat stern-faced, though his eyes were full of amusement.
Wasn't it true? The two wore the same white robes, possessed similar temperaments, and both used swords. To them, they really did look alike. Hearing the teasing around him, Bolan helplessly spread his hands, as if to say, You're all right. I'm not saying a word!
To be honest, Bolan had not expected Olivier to be so flamboyant now. Fortunately, Olivier did not hear that, or he would definitely have replied, "When you wear it, it's handsome, but when I wear it, it's flamboyant? What kind of logic is that...?"
Dilong looked disdainfully at the young Olivier opposite him. "So you're the so-called genius Sword Saint?"
Olivier ignored Dilong. With complete seriousness, he drew his sword, Ice Dream, and pointed it toward Dilong from afar. "Why so much nonsense?"
Dilong said no more. Emerald-green light immediately flared over his body. With his longsword in hand, he slashed out, sending a green sword aura dozens of meters long straight at Olivier. Olivier merely shifted slightly and dodged the attack.
The spectators nearby, however, stared at Dilong's sword aura in amazement.
Does this Dilong really like green that much? His clothes are green, his battle qi is green—he's only missing green hair, Bolan mocked inwardly.
At that moment, Hogg suddenly asked, "Which of them is stronger?" Bolan glanced over and said, "This Starry Sky Sword Saint may have entered the Saint level nearly a century ago, but his use of Momentum is still so crude. It only looks intimidating. Among Saint-level combatants, he is at the very bottom."
"Olivier has this victory in the bag," Bolan said.
On the battlefield, Dilong saw Olivier evade his first strike and immediately launched another. But Bolan saw the impatience in Olivier's eyes and knew Olivier did not want to keep playing like this. Olivier struck three times in a flash. The first strike directly shattered Dilong's sword aura. Then he rapidly closed the distance. Before Dilong could react, the second strike knocked the longsword from his hand. With the third, Olivier's dreamlike sword came to rest against Dilong's throat.
The surrounding spectators were completely bewildered and took a long time to recover. Only Bolan, watching from the side, understood what had happened.
"Olivier's use of Momentum has already reached the pinnacle. He even used the Laws of Light in his second strike. That's why he defeated Dilong so easily. Dilong truly deserves to be called the disgrace of the Saint level." With that, Bolan spat disdainfully, making the Silver Dragon beneath his feet let out a miserable cry.
Olivier lowered his sword, while Dilong flew away from the battlefield without looking back. Olivier stood there somewhat dazed. Perhaps even he had not expected the long-renowned "Starry Sky Sword Saint" to be so weak.
As the crowd below began to leave, Olivier came back to his senses. Looking toward the people atop the Silver Dragon in the distance, he said, "I've long heard that when Dragonblood Warriors reach the Saint level, they become super experts even among Saint-level warriors. It's a pity that the strongest Dragonblood Warrior on the continent right now is only Level 9. What a pity."
Hearing this, Bolan immediately transformed into a Dragonblood Warrior and flew before Olivier. "People should know their own limits, Olivier! Ultimate Warriors are not something someone like you can mention so casually." Bolan snorted coldly.
"Saint level?" Olivier said in surprise. "No, that's not right. He reaches the Saint level only after transforming. What a terrifying bloodline—the Ultimate Warriors!" Olivier said with emotion.
Everyone below was astonished. They had never seen such a terrifying being before. Blue-green dragon scales covered Bolan's entire body, while dragon horns rose from his forehead and a tail extended behind him. Every feature radiated power. The blue-green scales even reflected a hazy glow beneath the sunlight, making their formidable defense obvious at a glance.
At this point, Olivier looked solemnly at Bolan. Just as the two were poised to fight, a voice suddenly rang out. It belonged to a Saint-level expert from the War God Sect. "You are both rare geniuses. Why not postpone your battle for a few days? Rest well, bring yourselves to peak condition, and then fight."
At those words, both men immediately withdrew their auras. Bolan snorted coldly. "Ten days from now, I'll make you pay the price." With that, he flew back to the Silver Dragon's head without looking back. The Silver Dragon, Sally, let out a long cry toward Olivier, then slowly flew back to the Marquis's estate.
