Weather Wizard

Caitlin had been observing Barry's cellular data from the control room in the lobby. She had been checking on Barry earlier and had gathered a lot of unusual data. She needed to organize it and meticulously study the differences between Barry and ordinary people.

Just as she was engrossed, staring intently at the computer screen.

Suddenly, an alarm sound blared from the speakers.

It was the computer next to her. The display showed a street covered in thick white mist, with red circles marking the entire area, indicating danger.

Normally, Cisco would be here, coordinating with Barry for their heroic activities. But today, they were all out together, and Dr. Wells had taken a few days off. Caitlin was the only one here.

Upon seeing the alert, she hesitated only briefly before pulling out her phone and calling Barry.

"Barry, a strange fog suddenly appeared on Jordmay Street. The citizens there might need you."

Caitlin didn't particularly like Barry being a superhero, but with this bizarre fog appearing out of nowhere, she was afraid ordinary people might get hurt. Driven by this concern, she notified Barry and Cisco, though her tone with Cisco wasn't as gentle.

"Cisco, Lin Li, you two need to come back immediately and handle the behind-the-scenes command."

After hanging up the phone.

"Cisco, Lin Li, I'm heading out first."

With that, Barry vanished in a blur, leaving behind streaks of yellow lightning.

The scan was also complete, yielding no results.

Cisco and Lin Li didn't stay there any longer.

Cisco said hurriedly, "Let's go, Lin Li, we need to get back to STAR Labs right away to assist Barry."

"No, Cisco, we're going to Jordmay Street," Lin Li said as he walked.

If his guess was correct, this should be the first meta-human from the TV show, Clyde Mardon, the Weather Wizard, who possessed the ability to control wind and weather.

Clyde Mardon's ability to control wind and weather was very powerful, far more so than depicted in the TV show.

Lin Li said slowly, "I can generate lightning without electricity or magnetic fields."

Cisco's eyes widened in realization, then widened further in shock. "You mean... the sudden fog was artificially created? A meta-human can create fog?"

Lin Li nodded and continued, "Of course, technology can also achieve this effect, by storing a large amount of water vapor and releasing it. Under stable atmospheric conditions, when the relative humidity reaches 100%, fog forms."

Cisco nodded, strongly agreeing with Lin Li's words. Whichever it was, it was highly probable. And whichever it was, even if they returned to STAR Labs, the cameras wouldn't be able to see anything in the fog-covered street, rendering them unable to assist Barry. Only by going to the scene could they help Barry.

Cisco drove the research vehicle and quickly arrived at the street.

He quickly got out of the car, a gust of wind 'whooshing' past his cheek.

A red figure burst through the dense fog and slammed heavily into the front of the research vehicle, pushing it back several meters. Cisco, inside, yelled and desperately held onto the steering wheel to steady himself.

It was Barry.

The front of the car was dented in a human shape. Barry's dire condition made Lin Li gasp.

His battle suit, worn for only a few days, was torn. Barry's chest looked as if it had been slashed by a sharp knife, or perhaps an explosion had occurred on his chest. Diagonal gashes ran across his chest and abdomen, his ribs were broken, exposing his internal organs. The flesh on his right chest was blown open, and clean, broken ribs were clearly visible.

"Do you know you are fighting a god?"

The mist swirled, and a figure emerged from within.
