Elite Training Camp

In the virtual space, inside a large, silver-white conference hall, six pure black chairs were arranged around a silver round table, with an infinite starry sky overhead.

At this moment, five people in white robes sat in their respective chairs, discussing the recruitment of Su You. Three of them were Huaxia, while the other two were a Black man and a White man, respectively.

This was the legendary supreme meeting of the Extreme Martial Arts Hall—the Round Table Conference. Those six seats were exclusive to Hong and the five Great Inspectors; they were the highest authority within the Extreme Martial Arts Hall.

One of the Huaxia men in white robes said, "Everyone, you have already seen Su You's file. These are the proposed terms; please take a look."

After the other four men in white robes reviewed them, the White man among them said, "Inspector Wang, I believe the benefits you are offering are too high. He only has Perfect-level movement techniques; he shouldn't be receiving such treatment."

"Vladimir, I don't think the benefits Inspector Wang is offering are too high at all," another Huaxia man in white robes countered.

The five Inspectors were not in agreement. The three Huaxia men in white robes believed these terms were appropriate, while the Black man and the White man in white robes felt the benefits were excessive.

"Five Inspectors," an electronic voice rang out, and the entire conference hall fell silent instantly.

Five documents drifted down from the starry sky above, landing directly in front of each Inspector.

"This is the decision made by the Master regarding the issue of Su You. If you have any objections, you may report them to the Master. If you have no objections, please execute this decision."

The five Inspectors quickly scanned the documents and immediately responded; not a single one had a dissenting opinion.

The electronic voice sounded again: "Inspector Wang, please execute this immediately."

On the morning of March 21st, in the Sword Technique Training Room of the Small Nine-Story Tower, the long sword in the metal robot's hand pressed against Su You's chest once again.

"Sigh, Perfection-level sword techniques... I wonder when I'll be able to break through?" Su You sighed, glanced at the communication watch on his left wrist, and suddenly perked up.

"Why did Teacher Yang Hui call me several times? Could it be... that the Inspector wants to summon me?"

Su You's eyes lit up, and he quickly called back while simultaneously heading toward the exit.

As it turned out, before the call even connected, Su You had just stepped out of the Sword Technique Training Room when he saw Yang Hui walking over in a hurry.

"I finally found you. Let's go, Inspector Wang wants to see you."

Su You followed Yang Hui as they walked quickly, asking as they went, "Inspector Wang?"

Yang Hui smiled and explained, "General affairs for the Basic Training Camp and the Elite Training Camp are overseen by Inspector Wang. Important matters are resolved collectively by the five Great Inspectors through the Round Table Conference, and for some particularly important issues, even the Master will sometimes intervene."

"I see," Su You nodded.

The two left the Basic Training Camp, sat in a stretched Cadillac, and drove directly toward the Elite Training Camp. Possessing detailed memories from his past life, Su You knew clearly that Inspector Wang's residence was located in the teacher's living area of the Elite Training Camp.

The two got out of the car at the training camp gate and entered the Elite Training Camp together. As soon as he stepped inside, Su You saw a black dragon sculpture identical to the one at the Basic Training Camp, though the dragon's eyes on this one emitted a terrifyingly dark aura.

"Not bad, you weren't scared off," Yang Hui seemed slightly disappointed.

Su You smiled and said, "Teacher Yang, you had already told me about it before, so I was prepared in advance. Otherwise, I probably would have been startled."

Yang Hui laughed heartily and led Su You into the residential area for teachers, eventually arriving in front of a quiet, seemingly ordinary villa.

An elderly man who looked like a butler saw Yang Hui and Su You approaching and said with a smile, "Teacher Yang, the Inspector is waiting for you and student Su You in the second-floor reception room."

Yang Hui nodded and led Su You into the villa. Just as they went upstairs and reached the door of the reception room, they heard a slightly raspy voice emanate from inside: "Come in, both of you!"

Walking into the reception room, Su You immediately saw a lean man who looked to be about forty years old, sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed. This was Inspector Wang.

"Inspector," the two bowed and said in unison.

Upon hearing this, Inspector Wang opened his eyes and glanced at Su You. Su You immediately felt an invisible pressure, making it difficult for him to even breathe smoothly.

"Sit down!"

As soon as Inspector Wang finished speaking, Su You and Yang Hui sat down cross-legged together.

"Look carefully at the contract in front of you. If there are no issues, sign it," Inspector Wang said, then closed his eyes again.

Su You picked up the contract on the table, glanced briefly at the first two pages, and flipped directly to the third page. This was the section on reward terms that he cared about.

"Reward 1: If the party reaches a combat power amplitude of 12 before August 1st, 2054, they will receive a Grade 9 combat suit, a full set of weapons, any one full set of secret manuals, and one portion of Dragon Blood worth 80 billion."

"Reward 3: If the party reaches a combat power amplitude of 16 before January 1st, 2057, they will receive an SS-grade combat suit, a full set of weapons, any three full sets of secret manuals, one portion of Dragon Blood worth 80 billion, and one 'Black God' set from ancient civilization ruins."

There were five reward terms in total, but only two assessment requirements: reaching a combat power amplitude of 12 and 16. Due to the time limits, in reality, one could receive at most two rewards.

For example, for the assessment task with a combat power amplitude of 12, if completed before August 1st, 2054, one could obtain Reward 1.

If completed between August 1st, 2054, and August 1st, 2055, one could only obtain Reward 2.

If completed after August 1st, 2055, then neither of the two rewards for the first assessment requirement could be claimed. The same principle applied to the second assessment requirement.

Su You breathed a sigh of relief, feeling very satisfied with the contract. After leaving the reception room, Yang Hui led Su You out of the instructors' building complex and headed toward the Nine-Story Tower.

While they were still on the way, Su You received a notification from the bank regarding a change in his balance; his 5 billion Huaxia Currency activity fund for this year had been issued.
