Background / History

You Meng originated from Source Star, an ancient human civilization that once controlled a star sector of more than 100,000 star systems and remained independent of the Ganwu Universe Country. Her father was Source Star's master: an Immortal King with more than 500 Immortals under his command. 47

Following her father's death, one of his enemies destroyed Source Star. You Meng states that the remaining people on the planet likely perished. She survived within a ring for over 800,000 epochs, spending most of that time in near-constant slumber to preserve her sanity. 47 48

She identifies herself as a damaged intelligent life form. The rare metal of her ring can convert a soul into data, effectively creating an intelligent life form, but damage and the ring's restrictions left her unable to freely monitor or act beyond a range of roughly two to three meters. 47 54

When Su You encounters her in a virtual space, You Meng initially attempts to recruit him as her servant. After he refuses, she admits that she wants to nurture someone capable of taking her into the universe so she can enter the Virtual Universe.
