Background

Asura God is an ancient God King who existed during the era of the Dragon God. He survived that era and, with the Dragon God's permission, used the Asura Demon Sword to split the Dragon God's body in two. He is regarded as one of the five God Realm Enforcers and possesses authority to pass Judgment on divine matters. 194 225

He takes a direct interest in the Douluo Continent, particularly in cultivating Tang San as his successor. His interference includes acknowledging Tang San for the Asura God inheritance, arranging for him to pursue the Sea God inheritance as well, and repeatedly sending projections or descending personally to protect him. 193 194 206

Appearance

Asura God's true body is a burly, imposing man clad in dark-red armor marked with demonic patterns. His presence stirs the surrounding spiritual energy and brings an atmosphere of bloodthirst and killing intent. 224

Asura God is proud, authoritarian, and deeply invested in the authority of the God Realm. He treats defiance of divine power as an offense deserving Judgment, and he initially dismisses Qian Renyu as a mere lower-realm madman. 194 224

He is also calculating and protective of his chosen successor. He manipulates circumstances to secure Tang San's inheritance, conceals his actions in the lower realm from the other God Kings, and attempts to remove Qian Renyu when opportunities arise. 193 218 222 242

Despite his confidence, Asura God becomes increasingly anxious when his plans are exposed or when Qian Renyu's strength exceeds his expectations. His fear of scrutiny by the other Enforcers constrains his willingness to intervene openly. 218 221 228

Tang Chen's Summoning

Tang Chen summons Asura God's projection during his battle with Qian Renyu. The projection identifies Tang Chen as its successor and agrees to address the supposed disruption of Douluo Continent's balance. Qian Renyu refuses to yield, clashes with the projection, and ultimately obliterates it. 189 191

Tang San's Recognition

After Tang Chen falls, Asura God immediately recognizes Tang San as the successor to his divine position. Tang San receives a Slaughter God's Domain despite never entering Slaughter City, leading others to suspect that the inheritance was forcibly arranged. 193

Asura God subsequently protects Tang San with another powerless projection, then retaliates after Qian Renyu destroys it by striking soul beast habitats worldwide. This action awakens Gu Yuena and intensifies her hostility toward him. 194 195

Intervention Through Poseidon

Asura God directs Tang San toward dual inheritance of the Asura God and Sea God positions, using the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud as the token for Sea God Island. He later relies on Poseidon to intervene against Qian Renyu while attempting to keep his own involvement hidden from the God Realm. 206 209 218

When Poseidon is nearly defeated, Asura God abandons secrecy and descends personally to the mortal realm. He joins Poseidon in confronting Qian Renyu and Gu Yuena. 222 224

Exposure Before the God Realm

Qian Renyu attacks the God Realm gateway to force the other gods to notice Asura God's interference. The resulting disturbance brings the God of Destruction, Goddess of Life, God of Goodness, God of Evil, and other deities to the mortal realm. 228 229 230

The God of Destruction discovers Tang San's dual inheritance and holds Asura God accountable. Asura God cannot exercise his veto because the matter concerns his own conduct, and Tang San is ultimately allowed to retain only one divine position rather than Asura's. 234 236

Battle Against Qian Renyu and Gu Yuena

After interrupting Qian Renyu's battle with the God of Destruction, Asura God attempts to exploit an opening to kill Qian Renyu but is stopped by Gu Yuena. 242

Qian Renyu then employs the Divine Throne of Wisdom and Spirit's Light Element Explosion ability. The technique detonates light elements within Asura God's body, inflicting severe wounds and forcing him to retreat under the gaze of the other God Kings. 244 246
