Xu Lanqing helped Tang Ya avenge her family and restore her Blue Silver Grass by making the Blue Silver Emperor her Soul Ring. As the emperor weighed the Holy Spirit Cult’s place in the empire and Ma Xiaotao broke free of her hypnosis, Xu Lanqing returned to Ju Zi.

• Xu Lanqing brought Tang Ya to the Iron Blood Sect, where she killed its fighters and he stopped Tie Tang from killing her before letting her finish her revenge.
• Xu Lanqing urged Tang Ya to live and rebuild the Tang Sect, and she agreed to leave with him to seek a Second Soul Ring.
• Beibei searched for the missing Tang Ya, was attacked by an Evil Soul Master, and Zhang Lexuan pursued the attacker before being wounded by his mirror technique.
• Xu Lanqing brought Tang Ya to the Blue Silver Emperor, who became her Soul Ring and gave her a 190,000-year right arm Soul Bone, evolving her Martial Soul and ending its Evil aura.

Xu Lanqing reunited with Ju Zi, brought her and the others into the academy, and pursued a plan to strike at the Holy Spirit Cult while exploring the empire’s Soul Tool defenses. As the Ice Empress confessed her feelings and Gu Yuexi delivered Gu Yuena’s test, Xu Lanqing agreed to face Xu Tianzhen in their long-promised showdown.

• Xu Lanqing reunited with Ju Zi, who confessed that she still loved him and accepted a post as deputy commander of the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion.
• Kong Deming showed Xu Lanqing the developing Battle Armor and Mechas, and Xu Lanqing gave him Electrolux’s divine-level forging knowledge.
• Xu Lanqing brought Ju Zi, Jiang Nannan, and Tang Ya to the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Master Academy, where Meng Hongchen confessed her love and lost a duel to him.

He gained Ma Xiaotao’s cooperation against the Holy Spirit Cult while Ju Zi took up a military command and Xu Lanqing continued developing a way to combine his cultivation techniques.

• Xu Lanqing sought Shangguan Wei'er’s help reaching the Ye Family, but their conversation was interrupted when Ye Guyi arrived gravely wounded, and he arranged to have her treated.
• Evil Soul Masters attacked Shangguan Wei'er’s hotel, where Ice Empress fought Feng Ling and Xu Lanqing battled Ma Xiaotao before Zhang Peng attacked from behind.
• Xu Lanqing captured Ma Xiaotao, but Zhang Peng broke through Shangguan Wei'er’s defenses before Luan Feng’s Soul Tool bombardment destroyed Mingyue Hotel and killed him.
• Xu Lanqing checked on Ye Guyi as the emperor sent the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Legion and Evil Monarch Soul Engineer Legion away from Mingdu, and Ju Zi accepted a deputy command in the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion.
• Xu Lanqing and Electrolux removed Ye Xishui’s mental control from Ma Xiaotao, and Xu Lanqing helped her confront her guilt before they fought again in a valley.

• Xu Lanqing sent the Ice Empress to capture Nangong Wan and disable the High-Energy Compression Array Soul Tools while Ma Xiaotao prepared to gather fleeing Holy Spirit Cult members.
• Xu Tianran’s forces surrounded the palace, but Xu Lanqing summoned Electrolux and an undead army as Xiao Bai and Zheng Zhan fought the attackers.
• Nangong Wan and Ma Xiaotao warned Xu Tianran that the Ice Empress had disabled a tower, but Xu Lanqing arrived at the bedchamber and challenged him for the throne.
