Background

Meng Hongchen is Xiao Hongchen’s younger sister and Jing Hongchen’s granddaughter. Alongside Xiao, she approached Huo Yuhao’s group after their enrollment at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineer Academy, offering special attention and rare metals on Jing Hongchen’s behalf 21.

Her parents were killed in an Evil Soul Master attack when she and Xiao were young. The Falling Spirit Star’s trial forces her to confront that day and choose between speaking with her deceased parents and continuing toward her future as a Poison Soul Master 175.

During a two-and-a-half-year exchange at Shrek Academy, Meng is assigned to collect legends concerning deities and cultivation techniques.
