After ending the call, Nie Yun stood up. "Codename, I'll leave things here to you. I finally have some time off, so don't bother me unless it's something important!"
"Understood. Rest assured, Captain, and enjoy your vacation!" Codename dutifully assured him.
Nie Yun waved and had barely stepped out of the Captain's Quarters when he spotted a tiny figure scurrying around the corridor on short little legs, its round eyes curiously surveying everything around it.
After observing the little fellow for the past two days, Nie Yun had discovered that it seemed a little hyperactive, utterly incapable of sitting still. It had already explored every inch of the Sea Wolf, yet still hadn't tired of it.
Were all eight-legged creatures destined to be travelers?
"Hey, Little Octopus, want to go home and visit your family?" Nie Yun suddenly asked with a mischievous grin.
"Pfft?" Hearing Nie Yun's voice, Little Octopus turned to look at him.
Go home and visit my family? Is he planning to release me?
A tiny speck suddenly dropped from the underside of the Sea Wolf in Earth Orbit.
Clad in battle armor, Nie Yun stood on a silver board about three meters long. A transparent crystal ball was secured at his shoulder, with Little Octopus's terrified face visible inside.
"Pfft, pfft!" Little Octopus cried in panic, its body trembling from the combined sensations of falling and weightlessness.
"The sky really is a traveler's dream! Let me show you the most spectacular surfing in the world. You'll fall in love with it in no time! Hahaha..."
Nie Yun laughed, his eyes brimming with excitement. He pressed down with his foot, and blue exhaust flames burst from the board, sending him and Little Octopus hurtling toward the blue planet that gradually filled their entire field of vision.
